I went into the store to buy 8 pairs of shoes for my kids and the cashier came over to help after I ask for help I had a shoe in my hand and I ask if she could measure my kids feet she walked away with an attitude and state real loud first she asked for a shoe then want me to measure the kids feet am not going to measure no kids feet you got me messed up so I said you work here she have two cornrows in her hair this is bad for business so I left and went to another shoe sure to purchase some shoes I will never go back there they are to ghetto and have no respect for the customers

Very unprofessional I called @ 5:50 young lady said give her 15 minutes and she will send me the code called back at 7:15 and a young man answer the phone and told me give him five minutes and he will sent over a code but you can be on your way 20 minutes past still didn’t received a code call back. Another young lady answered the phone and said they sent a code they sent out all codes to check my email. I check my email. I haven’t got a email from Dtlr since two days ago from when I purchased the merchandise,And going to tell me I don’t have to keep calling!!! Sweetheart, I’m gonna keep calling until I get my merchandise if you got to take your phone off the hook, I don’t care

I should've known as soon as I walked in and NONE of the 3 employees in the empty store acknowledged me... The "security guard" did though. Smh
I went to return a pair of never-worn metallic/silver dunks with two proofs of purchase. The young lady barely opened the box to look at the shoe, went to the back room, and took a very long time to return after having two of her coworkers check the bottom of she shoes and ask me questions about when I purchased them. While I waited, I removed the crease protectors from the shoes that I'd forgotten were inside. When the young lady returned, she rudely said, "You're gonna have to return these to corporate because these shoes are dirty. They don't look right." Huh?! I was confused! She put the box in a bag (I didn't have a bag because I purchased them online weeks ago) and told me to have a nice day... literally. (And you know exactly how she said it.) Had anyone actually spoken to me and not at me about the shoes, or asked me WHY I was returning, I would've explained that 1. because the shoe is metallic, the toes creased IMMEDIATELY upon trying them on (check the reviews on Nike, DTLR, and Hibbett sites), which is why I later bought the crease protectors from the Clinton location, and 2. I hadn't worn them in the time I had them, which is always an indicator for me that I probably never would, so I wanted my money back because the window to return was closing. Businesses in OUR neighborhoods often get bad reviews because of terrible customer service, so I rarely complain online whenever I experience it. However, I did this time because I felt accused, dismissed, and disrespected, and I'm 100% sure if I complained up the DTLR management chain, nothing would happen. Luckily, I spared myself further disappointment by leaving with my super cute, NEVER-WORN shoes that another location will happily resell. Plus, I was in there so long, I was in a hurry to get away from the eye-rolling cashier so I could make it to my next stop on time.
I'm not saying avoid this location at all costs because we need to keep money in our communities, BUT, consider yourself warned and keep your expectations low. Like, real low. And know that the employees will likely be annoyed that you're even in the store.

My daughter and I went to this location on yesterday evening I must say walking to the store. I was very disappointing the strong smell of weed instantly gave me a headache. THIS IS NOT OK ! The sales associate seem as if she was high herself when I was kept asking her the same question to three times she seem to be a little frustrated when I’m asking her if they had a different shoe in her my daughters size. Needless to say we left the store without shoes.

I went to DTLR in forestville Md. and brought 3 pair of jeans because I wanted something a little more stylish. Got home tried on the jeans and jeans didn’t fit me well. So I took the jeans back 2 days later and the store attendant told me the only refund I could get was store credit even with a receipt. No one told me before I paid for these items that there is a no cash back policy only a gift card. The sad part is 90% of the clothing in the store I can’t fit so why would I want a gift card. I will make sure that my friends and family take their money and business somewhere else
