Since when is it appropriate to be on a personal phone call while assisting customers at the front desk? Not only is this incredibly rude, but it also helps prove the employees cannot multitask. Their job is to deal with customers, not worry about whatever discussion about "tuna" they were having.
Several times, I thought they were speaking to me when they were actually speaking to someone on the other end on their ear buds. When I tried asking a question about a zip code, the question wasn't acknowledged or answered. Then they grabbed the overnight label I was filling out, applied it to the envelope *that was never handed to me* and sealed it. I showed them the document I needed shipped, still in my hand. When I asked to start over, they simply ripped it open, inserted my contents, then taped it back up. When the survey popped up on the touch screen, they reached under the useless COVID barrier and clicked on the green smiley. I WOULD NOT have selected that one and she knew it. This also is unacceptable.
These employees shouldn't need to be told that being on the phone while assisting customers is UNACCEPTABLE. They are at WORK: They should be WORKING. If they need to discuss tuna recipes or listen in on what their kids are doing at home, do it on their break. The survey is for customers so they can be held accountable for their poor performance. This also reflects poorly on the manager of this location and shows they are not paying attention to what's going on and the training on customer service and adulting needs to be reviewed.
Another thing that bothers me is when I hand a package to the clerk and they THROW it across the room into a bin. I've had this happen several times at this location. Make it at least LOOK like you care about my property I'm handing over to you to send to someone.

Negative - Zero Stars....Nastiest people ever. Too lazy to walk upstairs to deliver certified mail. I was told my cert mail was there by 3 different people. When I went to pick it up the next day, they said they didn't have it. They have anything of value sent thru this PO - it is risky. One of the carriers/employees stole a coin that was supposed to be delivered. The vendor I bought it from informed me that usps confirmed it was delivered. I was told by the post master that there was no way to tell where it was delivered because I live in a condo & have a cluster box so they tried to blame my neighbors. The employees cannot be trusted. They lie, cheat & steal.

So i received this mail today. With both sides 3/4 open. The top left corner is 1/4 open trying to sneak peak how much my savings account is. I am enrolled on a usps mail informed delivery. I don't know if this is from this office or from before them or where. I think mails should be maintained private and confidential, but through usps—i don't even think so. I pay attention to this kind of details. I don't want anybody to experience this. As everybody has the right for privacy. Who would try sneak peak on somebody else’s mail? This is hilarious. Usps. What is wrong with your employees. I don't think our packages and mails are safe under your services, if things like this happen. Gosh people.

Forest Hill Post Office is used to be very friendly and professional many years ago. Now it is the worst post office so far. The mails were sent to wrong address, mails were opened and mailman did not pick up the packages that was requested online. When told to the clerk what happend she seemed didn't care what I had complained. Waste of the tax payer money for their salary. smh

This place is the most ridiculously run post office in the US. The employees are in the back gossipping while a half a dozen people wait in the lobby. I made an appointment for a passport and have waited in line for twenty minutes and no one has done a single thing for any of the people here in line. It must be nice to be an employee of the government and not be held accountable for work performance in any way.

The posted hours today are 9a-5p. I and 2 other people arrived at 4:45p to find the doors locked and lights off. This post office is the worst. I will usually go out of my way to go the Bel Air location but today I needed to pick up a package that they didn't even ring my doorbell for. Not the first time that's happened. Packages that don't need a signature will be shoved in the tiny mailbox and I'll have to rip open the packaging to get it out. The staff are always rude and condescending. Half the mail I send out from this location doesn't arrive unless I pay for tracking. They even released my certified mail to someone else once. There's only ever been one employee here who was friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember her name. This location needs a lot of work.

Incredibly rude, condescending, and unprofessional staff. They shout at people, lecture patrons, and behave with a lack of customer service that one could only get away with working for the government. Every time I have been forced to go in I have witnessed a different and shocking rudeness.

I went to the post office today, Tuesday March 22nd at 5:20 pm. I literally just wanted to drop a box off which takes 2 seconds. All I was going to ask her was if I could drop it off in the drop box thing. The doors were locked but there was a woman inside who saw me and completely ignored me even after I knocked on the window, two times, and then proceeded to turn the lights off and ignore me. It was so rude, I just wanted to ask one simple question. They had just closed which is fine I understand that, but she shouldn’t have ignored me completely and could have at least answered my one question. Super rude.

I came into your PO today May 18th at Approx 4:15 pm. I looked on the door which did Not say mask required and looked clearly empty like the posting were removed as the CDC lifted the mask requirement. I entered and stood in line while 2 women were being helped by one African American woman behind the full plexiglass partition with a Mack and gloves on herself. While the 2 women finished three customers entered in line behind me. The postal woman waited till it was my turn to tell me I had to go get a mask so she would not help me. Not only was it embarrassing but I was to go get a mask that clearly would put me in the back of the line. I went on your web site and I see No reference to requiring a mask. I have gone to your post office 4 times in the past 2 years and every time was a bad experience. I frankly will not use you center again. This is Not Customer Service. These are one of the reasons the Postal System has a bad name.
