We would not think about going anywhere else but Hickory Vet. They are very attentive to my animals' needs and would feel 100% comfortable with any of the vets treating them. They spend as much time with me to answer all of my questions and complete thorough exams. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk is just as wonderful. Everyone is compassionate and I feel like I am as important as my animal. We also love Alexandra and her wonderful staff at the Pet Food & Supplies store. They treat my animals like their own and there is always a little treat waiting. Alexandra knows the products very well and is so helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and offers plenty of food, treat, toy and animal gear choices.

I just picked my dog, Gracie, up and I have to say they do an amazing job! It has been a long time since I’ve had her groomed and it definitely showed. When I picked her up I was so happy and I could tell she was too! I will continue to take her there and I hope this review tells others how great they are!!

Rock Spring Veterinary Clinic

My cat Omar had an abscess on his face. I had clear instructions and options to choose from. I sent in pictures and they were shown to the doctor. I got a call back and brought him in. Everyone is so nice and caring.
Omar who can be a bad kitty was very good for the doctor and assistant/technician.
I am happy to report that Omar is healing up great and is in better spirits. Thank you to all of the staff!!

My family has gone to them as long as I can remember. They're basically family! They are so sweetest and so helpful. Always there to help. You can tell they love their job and every animal that comes through the door. I moved about 30 minutes away but still make the trip to Forest Hill. I recommend them to everyone even those who are a little further then the area. My number one choice!

Rock Spring Veterinary Clinic: Modugno Melissa DVM

Dr Scacia and Dr Gibson have both been very nice. My dog had leg surgery and everything went well. I'm back today to have stitches removed and I would have prefered to go in with my dog. It's rediculous. Time to move on from the masks that DO NOT prevent covid. It will all come out eventually. If you believe they work then people should be able to come in. Swan Creek and Churchville allow u in. U just wait in your car til your appt time. This is just very annoying and I'm over it! No one did this with the flu. That causes death also. Other then this it is a great veterinary clinic!

I absolutely love Hickory Vet. We switched our pets here after going for a second opinion on our dog’s medical issue. Everyone has been amazing from the desk, techs, and vets. We see Dr. McNesby regularly and she’s truly awesome. She has a great personality with pets & people alike. I’ve also met Dr. Lyle & Dr. McCourt, who were equally awesome with my babies. Can’t recommend Hickory enough.

I’d highly recommend Polite Pooches for your dog training needs! Kathy really took the time to understand our concerns and shared a very detailed training, and feeding, plan to help us. We’ve been implementing for a little over a week and things are going great. Our puppy is happier, following commands, and we’ve had zero potty accidents in our home. Talk about success! We’re so happy with the progress and looking forward to future sessions.

Hickory Kennels

At first I was kinda wary of them cause of some of the reviews. I tend to be over protective about my fur babies and only seek the best for them. My worry was quickly put aside when I entered, they made sure to communicate with me about step by step instructions on my fur babies medication and they answer all my questions and reassured me when I worried about their health. I’m not huge on leaving reviews but i felt that they were not given the credit they deserve. Yes, maybe it’s a tad bet more expensive, but let’s face it you pay for what you get. I STAND by my choice of picking them as my go to place for my babies. I completely trust them. I do advise you to ask about everything if your as worried as I am. I ask for a detailed receipt and always ask for a detailed health report and they ALWAYS help me. Some people I’ve noticed receive what they get. You can’t be RUDE to these lady’s and expect them to happily answer your questions. They are always sweet and caring and always give love to both of my dogs. I honestly can’t believe I was scared of being my dogs here cause of people lying and making a bias story that makes them seem as if they are in the right. I will honestly be forever grateful that they care a lot about easing my worries and caring for my pups health.
