They are very attentive to my animals' needs and would feel 100% comfortable with any of the vets treating them. They spend as much time with me to answer all of my questions and complete thorough exams. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk is just as wonderful. Everyone is compassionate and I feel like I am as important as my animal. We also love Alexandra and her wonderful staff at the Pet Food & Supplies store. They treat my animals like their own and there is always a little treat waiting. Alexandra knows the products very well and is so helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and offers plenty of food, treat, toy and animal gear choices.

1905 Rock Spring Rd, Forest HillMy cat Omar had an abscess on his face. I had clear instructions and options to choose from. I sent in pictures and they were shown to the doctor. I got a call back and brought him in. Everyone is so nice and caring.
Omar who can be a bad kitty was very good for the doctor and assistant/technician.
I am happy to report that Omar is healing up great and is in better spirits. Thank you to all of the staff!!

534 E Jarrettsville Rd, Forest HillI absolutely love Hickory Vet. We switched our pets here after going for a second opinion on our dog’s medical issue. Everyone has been amazing from the desk, techs, and vets. We see Dr. McNesby regularly and she’s truly awesome. She has a great personality with pets & people alike. I’ve also met Dr. Lyle & Dr. McCourt, who were equally awesome with my babies. Can’t recommend Hickory enough.

Hickory Kennels
534 E Jarrettsville Rd, Forest HillWe have been using Hickory Kennels since our dog was a puppy. Now he's a 3 year old and 94 pounds, but still very much puppy.
Hickory Kennels does a wonderful job of treating our dog like his family, and he can definitely be a high energy handful. The staff are wonderful and always so helpful in scheduling and communication. They have even been accommodating when I needed to change or forgot to schedule a stay.
If you are uncomfortable leaving your pet at a kennel, check out Hickory. I'm sure they can put you at ease and your pet can enjoy a stresfree vacation while you do the same.
