“I don't visit Smith Hardware often because it's a little out of the way, but it is certainly worth the detour. I stopped in a few weeks ago on my way home from somewhere else looking for a painters drop cloth. I had priced them elsewhere and expected to pay a premium, but I couldn't be more wrong. Smiths was lower than the big box stores. When I walked in, I was greeted by two young men and offered assistance, which I politely declined. I found what I needed and headed to the registers. There was one other person that was being rung up, but when one of the young men who had greeted me earlier saw me walk up, he interrupted his conversation with two other employees and opened another register to help me. You don't get service like that anywhere anymore!”
“Stopped in one hour from closing to get car keys copied. Although it wasn't an easy key cut (2010 car with a transponder in the key blank) Chris was fantastic and even took the time to go out to the car to make sure they worked. Fantastic customer service. Thanks Chris! You are truly a gem!”
“First time here. If you're not careful you will drive past it, as I did. Lol. Carts were available both regular and those with for disabled people. Let me tell you this store was very clean. Seeing an online circular is what made me take the drive to this location. The sales were awesome and the availability of products was enough for everyone. They even had fresh pickles at the deli. The lunch meat purchased was fresh as well. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely be taking this drive again because it was definitely worth the money saved.”

“This is the small local hardware store that blows the big box stores away. Joe, Eric and Mitch have all the answers for plumbing, electrical and landscaping supplies. Mitch is top notch
mechanic. He did the annual service on my zero turn and did more than expected compared to the big tractor shops. Glad you are here in Glen Arm.”
“The people there were very nice and helpful I asked questions needed help never did I feel like I was a bother to anyone. I am retired on a fixed income and I got a great refrigerator also bought a vanity,sink and mirror. When I found out the size I bought was to small, I was told there was no problem bringing it back. Not only would I buy from here again I would recommend people to go there.”

“I went to this location to purchase two packages of GB Gardner Bender Split Flex Tubing 10' x 3/8" & 1/2". Upon entering the store I was promptly greeted with a genuine smile and "Hello." In fact, every team member that I encountered was friendly and asked if I needed help! This was a refreshing change from most Home Depot where the associates see a customer approaching and make a B line like a bat out of hell. Even worse, you do catch one and they are miserable, mad at the world and act as if you are bothering them! I elected to skip the self-checkout kiosks and went to Zachary, Cashier in the Pro Depot. Zachary greeted me with a nice smile and a warm greeting. He quickly entered my Pro number, processed my items and billed me out. Overall, this location has awesome team members, is clean and well stocked and organized. Kudos to all of the team members here for providing a refreshing customer service experience! I will definitely return to this location when I am in the area.”

Sidenote: I got cat-called in the parking lot outside this place and OMG I am dying! I haven't been cat-called since I was in my early 20s lol. Will be returning!!”

“I’d like to recognize two outstanding workers ,Mr. Bill and Nate. Mr. Bill went above and beyond to assist my friend and me, not once but twice. Despite the tile section not being his department, he provided valuable advice from a homeowner’s perspective. Remarkably, when we returned for a second visit, Nate greeted us promptly and eagerly offered his help. I searched the store until I found Mr. Bill, who graciously dropped everything to assist us when we realized we had forgotten everything we needed for our backsplash. Their exceptional customer service truly made our experience memorable! Thank you! ?”
