Ticky tack Maryland inspection. Didn't even have the tools to remove tires and rims. Went to another service station and car passed with no items to be performed. There were 6 different things this station required before passing it.

Please read full review. Several issues. Absolutely awful experience here. Car needed a starter. We called first and were quoted nearly 100$ less than we were charged for the exact same thing we asked for the quote for. We negotiated to meet them in the middle, agreed on a price, then the receipt left in our car showed $25 more than the agreed upon price was charged to our credit card. When I went to pick up the car, I started it up to find the check engine light on. When I entered the shop to inquire about this, I was told “I don’t know” and frankly, treated as if I were stupid for asking. We further questioned this and we’re told that as part of the service, they removed and replaced all fuses from the car. We were also told to drive the car for 4-5 days and the check engine light would go off. After driving the car for more than 5 days the check engine light remained on, and we were forced to take the car to our trusted mechanic (he was on vacation when we needed the starter put in). He found that one of the original fuses that was removed Forest Hill “car care” was never replaced and this is what caused the check engine light to remain on. He had to go through several diagnostic steps to find this stupid issue which resulted in a ton of his time being taken up and a bill of an additional $250 for us to find this ridiculous and careless mistake by Forest Hill “car care”. Do Not Use.

I just moved here from PA and needed a safety check to to get my car registered in MD. Bob had my vehicle back to me the same day and the cost was extremely fair. It's hard to find quality auto service centers who perform honestly and fairly. Would gladly bring my car back again for service. Great job, gents.

Called Forest Hill Care Care to make an appointment to have car state inspected. The gentlemen there went out of their way to be as helpful as possible and worked with me. Their charge for MD State Inspection is more than reasonable. They found one problem which they fixed.I would recommended FHCC to anyone.

I have been taking my vehicles here for more than 7 years, and each time is a pleasant experience. Bob is honest, professional, and prices his services reasonably. Most other shops will look over your vehicle and tell you that you need a bunch of unnecessary maintenance. This shop on the other hand will not push you into unnecessary services, and will even tell you if you don't need something that you thought was ready for replacement. Today, I took my vehicle there to have a screw removed from my tire, expecting to need it patched. Bob and his staff looked over the tire, removed the screw, and sent me on my way without charging me. Finding an honest mechanic is very difficult these days, and I am happy to say that I will continue to recommend Forest Hill Car Care to everyone I know and have my vehicle serviced here for as long as I reside in this state.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Amazing service with good hearted people. Another repair shop wanted to charge me $1000 to fix an oil leak. When I brought it to Forest Hill Car Care, they put UV dye in my oil to see where the leak was actually coming from...and guess what? It was a misplaced seal from an oil change by a very well known HARCO dealership. Plus, FHCC plugged a nail hole in my tire for free. I feel extremely confident driving my 2014 vehicle. $200 for some minor maintenance vs $1000 for work I didn’t need. Definitely my new auto repair shop!Services: General repairs & maintenance

Bob and his staff are very friendly, professional and honest. I came here after having a bad experience at another car repair shop in Forest Hill, and coming here was like a breath of fresh air. I just feel very comfortable coming here.
