1930 Bethel Rd, Finksburg“Had to get new brake pads and rotors. They didn't charge for the diagnostic, compared to other shops in Towson that charge $100 or more! Customer service was amicable and clear. The prices were fair and service was quick! Highly recommend, very kind people. :)”
“I trust these guys. They really know what they're doing and they're honest. They spent hours putting together a detailed and comprehensive estimate, even though they knew I might decide to not go through with the repairs because my Benz is a 2003 and it's rusting. I ended up not having the work done because I'm going to sell the car, but had I kept it, these are the only people I would hired.”
“They do great work here, trustworthy, friendly and efficient , I like the report with pictures and videos they send so you can see exactly what they are seeing/ what your vehicles issues may be”
“I have tried 4 different auto shops over my 8yrs in the area and Schnauble is by far the best of the best! Very professional, easy to schedule repairs, super honest and actually showed me what the issue with my tires was, then told me where to get the parts needed for them to address the issue. Honesty is rare in this industry anymore, plus they reached out via text to make sure everything was ok after driving the vehicle a few days, unlike everywhere else who just email and text constantly to give them a review. They never asked me to do anything for them, I cannot recommend them enough!”
“I took my mother here for her transmission. They were honest and didn't charge her for the "problem" she was told by the dealer that she had. They are awesome and we would recommend them to ANYONE!”
“I've heard a lot about this place from my friends. I'm fairly new to this area and wanted to give this place a try before entrusting all of my vehicles to them. This is just my initial impression and I'll keep updating my comment with each service. I took my Chrysler 300 for oil/filter change, tire rotation which I had mentioned through their online appointment comments section.
They definitely did what I had asked for and made sure the vehicle was returned to me without any visible marks or scratches. They constantly communicated through text prior to my appointment and kept reminding me about it which was great.
On the day of, when I went in for the appointment, based on my past great experiences with other workshops, I had expected them to explain clearly what would be done when I dropped my car with them. The responses came in quite short and I had to literally ask them what they would do. It isn't a big deal, as I'm not there to exchange pleasantries. But, as a customer it would help me feel comfortable with entrusting my vehicle to them. That would be my suggestion moving forward. They were very courteous when I went to pick up the car. Again, I had to ask them what they did even though it may be unnecessary for them to explain. Maybe that's just me trying to be obsessed with clear communication or my involuntary expectation based on their prompt text communication prior to the appointment. One other suggestion would be the speed of service. I've never had to wait almost a whole day just for oil/filter change with tire rotation. I dropped my vehicle around 8am and only heard back around 4pm. Needless to say, these are minor nitpicky concerns.
POSITIVES: They did a thorough inspection of the car and suggested additional items that may need attention soon. I was even sent a link with a picture and description by the mechanic who serviced the vehicle. MUCH APPRECIATED.
Overall, it was a good experience and I feel I could trust my vehicles with Town and Country Auto Repair in Eldersburg. Thank you!”
“Friendly, honest people that actually have the customer’s best interest in mind. The receptionist was lovely, and the guy who did our inspection (on a very old car that we knew was in rough shape and had low expectations going in) was as honest and straightforward as they come. We asked for an oil change and repairs estimate to get it to pass, but they called us up to tell us that the problems were worse than we thought and the repairs would be beyond the value of the car so they wanted to check with us before proceeding with the oil change so as not to waste our money in case we decided it wasn’t worth it to us to fix it up. They didn’t have to do that, but it was really thoughtful and we did in fact decline the oil change and we went right out that day and bought a new vehicle. We were way overdue anyway, this was just the final push we needed to go through with it. Anything we need in the future we’ll be coming to them for sure, but if you’re wondering if you should trust them, DO IT.
PS - the previous owner did the horrible “repairs” I swear it wasn’t us, we just purchased REALLY rushed and carelessly a couple years ago and noticed everything after it was too late lol.”
“Dale is very thorough and very honest he will go out of his way to help you he checks his work after he's done Makes sure everything's right before you leave I highly recommend Dale to anybody that needs transmission service.”
“Pope Was Wonderful Servicing my car I got my breaks done and an oil change and he was even able to service my sister when her mechanic had an emergency thanks again pope”
“TMC is the best! Folks, if you live near the Eldersburg area this is the spot for your auto repair- maintenance needs. Call Tom and set up an appointment. Thank me later”
“Redline with the save! I had suspension work done at a previous shop several times, but they couldn't quite get the alignment to where it was necessary for my ride after they installed the parts I needed. No worries. Took my ride to Redline and they were able to diagnose, fix the issue, and explain what happened in a day! Highly recommend!”
“Billy is incredible! Right away you can tell that he loves what he does. He's honest and upfront about what needs to be done to make sure your vehicle is fixed right.
I highly recommend Calvin's to everyone now that I've found them!”
“In our society where much dishonesty is exercised and where greed abounds, working with Duane Cooper at Cooper's Auto Service was a wonderful delight. The work conducted on my 2006 BMW 325i was complete in a timely manner, communication was frequent notifying of the necessary repairs, and items listed in priority order. Cooper's Auto Service is an auto repair shop that I would certainly recommend to anyone.”
“Can’t express how great these people are. They 100% care about their customers and they are honest and will not rip you off. All the work that they have done for me in the past has been exceptional. Couldn’t recommend them more to anyone who needs transmission work.”
“This is the best shop in town. I’ve been a regular customer here for years and have had nothing but good experiences. Recently I made the mistake of taking my car to another place for an oil change because I had a coupon, and the other place told me my car needed $2100 worth of work. I didn’t quite trust that, so I took my car to Caples for a second opinion. Caples said I didn’t need any of the work, saving me $2100! Another time I tried to put air in my tires, but somehow I wound up letting a lot of air out instead, activating the low tire warning. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I pulled into Caples at five minutes to close on a Friday and asked if they could help me. They put air in my tires, replaced one of valve stem caps that was messed up, didn’t make me feel like an idiot (even though I deserved it), and didn’t even ask for any money! If you want an honest shop that knows how to treat its customers, go to Caples.”
“I purchased a 2001 Porsche 911 (996) Carrera Cabriolet in April 2023. While my car only had 19,350 miles on the odometer, I had Ralph's Automotive Service complete a comprehensive maintenance workup on the vehicle. I was impressed most by their thoroughness and transparency throughout the entire process. They offered to have me visit their shop to inspect the worn parts and give authorization before proceeding. They also performed an IMS bearing retrofit, replaced the rear main seal, and installed a new clutch. Since these three services were completed in the same area of the engine they were able to consolidate the labor hours to save me considerable expense. I find the ownership, management, and staff to be highly ethical and professional and strongly recommend them to work on your Porsche. Many thanks to the Ralph's Automotive team for their diligence and hard work breathing new life into my dream car.Service: General repairs & maintenance”
“Rick is a one-man band. A good guy and a good, honest mechanic. I'll be returning hence-forth for anything I don't want to tackle in my driveway. He's taken care of 3 vehicles now for me, since relocating back to the state. He's offered rides, despite being swamped in work. Thanks again, Rick?Service: General repairs & maintenance”
“I purchased a classic car from car finders. They have been pleasant to work with, and seem to have a variety of used cars available. Depending on what you are looking for I say give them a look.”
“I went to aamco to get a diagnostic test they had me in and out in less then 10mins perfect spot I went there because my check engine light came on in he told me what the problem was.”
“I turned my truck in for multiple services and battery replacement. Everything was done by the end of the day. I love the kind and friendly staff, the efficiency of service and the great quality of workmanship. I will continue to use Hometown Auto Repair for all my vehicle services.”
