This review should be rated a zero. The Essex Post Office has stooped to a new low. My package containing four bottles of liquid was left teetering on top of my mailbox by the road. Amazing that no one walking by did not take the package with them or that the package did not fall to the ground. Luckily, I saw the package after 7pm while it was still daylight because my mail is usually delivered after 9pm. The mail delivery person was too lazy to place the package on the porch by the front door. There is no excuse for such poor mail delivery service.

They consistently aren’t able to take payment for anything, are always late to open with a ton of people waiting outside each morning, and are usually out of everything.

If I could give them a zero I would, I requested to have my mail held a month before I needed it. Needless to say when I return from my vacation, mail was on my porch hanging out of my mailbox and my door. A package that I was supposed to have gotten I didn't, I went to the post office. A manager was supposed to call me. They didn't. Terrible customer service when you go in the lady behind the desk very rude and very short with you.

Terrible manager and postal workers at the front desk. Not only did they lose my roommate's package and took forever to find it in their own building because their drivers don't put the packages away correctly, the manager tried to argue that the tracking nunber wasn't theirs when it clearly was. In addition, the man and woman working the front at closing time on 4/20 spent the last hour of their shift complaining IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS how they did not want to even come in that day and didn't want to be there. Additionally, there was another poor woman who was stuck there for a whole hour as well trying to do a simple address change because the staff were completely incompetent in their role. The level of unprofessionalism is absolutely astounding in this post office. Upper management relation do an evaluation of their staff and do a complete retraining because clearly no one who works there knows what they are doing.

Customers seem to be last in priority at least according to parking lot. Parking spaces in front of customer entrance..

Terrible. Upon arrival nobody in window for service. Waited a while for service. We had an appointment for Passport March 30. There was a sign saying “no more appointments after April 1st” worker on site refused to do the passport paperwork even though we had an appointment. Just unacceptable.

I recently had the displeasure of visiting the USPS location at , and I must say, it was an absolutely dreadful experience from start to finish. This branch deserves the top spot for the worst services I've ever encountered.Firstly, the behavior of the employees was appalling. They were rude, dismissive, and displayed zero professionalism. It was as if they were doing me a favor by even acknowledging my presence. Their untidy dressing only added insult to injury, making it clear that they had little regard for presenting themselves in a respectable manner.Furthermore, the excuse of having "less staff" is just that - an excuse. Instead of efficiently managing their resources, they seem to revel in keeping customers waiting in queues for hours on end. It's infuriating to see them bragging about their lack of manpower while customers suffer the consequences of their incompetence. To add insult to injury, instead of attending to their responsibilities, the employees were shamelessly watching YouTube shorts behind the counter. It's beyond comprehension how they can prioritize mindless entertainment over serving the customers who rely on USPS for important mail and packages. The USPS management must urgently intervene and address the deplorable behavior and lack of professionalism at this location. It's high time they bring the staff back to their senses and instill a culture of respect and efficiency. Until then, I urge everyone to steer clear of this USPS branch unless they enjoy subjecting themselves to frustration and disappointment.

Never delivered my package, sent it back to the post office, said incomplete address or they could t find the house. Never in my life had a delivery not delivered because of address issue. Just a lazy postal worker not wanting to do their job. I got to call & have it to delivered. What a joke, give the job to someone who wants to work & do their job correctly.

It makes no sense that no one is ever around to answer the phone. Returning my package to sender because of an ‘incomplete address’ has never been my issue with any other branch, an issue that could be resolved quickly if I could just go and pick it up. But now I have to wait weeks for my package to be redelivered which is super inconvenient. I hope none of my parcels never have to be delivered from here again.

Constantly delivers my mail to the wrong address, doesn't put the flag down when I have mail that needs to be sent, leaves packages on the road, good luck trying to determine what time your mail gets to your house. Also, today I got the mail only to find the flag still up, I had the neighbors mail and when I put the neighbors mail in their mailbox, low and behold, there is the envelope I had in my mailbox to be sent out. Bunch of IDIOTS. Its sad....

They has bad customer service on Saturday, never delivered packages to the right address and then lie about they’re deliveries. Then tries to place blame on your neighbors stealing. When it’s them not doing they’re job correctly.
