“I love this place people tend to overlook it because the tools get a bad rep, but I'm here to tell you they are actually awesome and good quality. Some of the power tools top the bigger name brands you just have to do your research. Hercules power tools are amazing quality you wouldn't believe it and for the price I seriously recommend Hercules tools they are a little more affordable but made with super quality.They also have tons of other brands and a wide variety of tools for most tradesmen. I most surely will be buying more tools there so far I have a Jack, Jack stands, bike hangers, tuff ceiling hooks, complete socket set with all 3 ratchet sizes, deep impact sockets, quality Hercules tool bag, flashlights, Hercules impact wrench for auto work it's great I never have to fight a big tuff bolt or lugs anymore, a set of wrenches and more.”
“I bought an electric lawnmower here yesterday, and Chris was extremely helpful with the sale. Unfortunately, after a short mow, this lawnmower didn’t work out for me and I needed to return it (it was way too hard for me to push). Chris very nicely suggested that I consider the self-propelled one, but I declined and he processed my refund. I love this store but it’s really great employees like this person who keep me coming back.”
“As an electrical contractor we use Shepherd electric for a lot of our material purchases. Our rep, Gary, is great! He stops in and checks if we need assistance every week like clockwork. He is always friendly and very knowledgeable. Their prices are very competitive and the service is top notch. Highly recommended.”
“I bought a 56” roller cab at the Parkville store and had it delivered to the store. Everyone there was very helpful with the whole process. I chose this store after having difficulty with the employees in Edgewood. When I picked up the tool box, Evan at the store helped me load it into the truck. He even climbed in the back with me and helped squeeze it in. I definitely would not have been able to get it loaded without his help. I will be taking my business there from now on because of their great customer service.”

“Very nice local business. The owner was very helpful and friendly. What is nice is they repair screens. Not too many places do that anymore. If you are looking to shop for hardware, please check out this place. They also make keys here. Prices are reasonable.”

“This place is okay for pawning but they really give you the lowest amount of money possible but they do take more stuff than most pawn shops in the area. And if you're late on picking up an item you pawned they will work with you and hold it and just charge you extra money rather than putting it out right after 30 days and you losing you're item.”

“Most definitely a true *variety* store! Between hardware plus typical corner store goods, this kind gentleman also sold us some gorgeous cacti that have long overgrown their original containers - among countless other good finds. This place is the best!”
“Visited this store on Friday afternoon (3/24/23). Andy greeted me with a smile and was excited to help. I didn't leave with any parts/order cause there isn't a Grainger store close to home. So I need to do some more information gathering on my end to figure out my exact part. Then I can place an order. Andy was great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone. Grainger should be pleased he has chosen to work at Grainger.”
“Vince... a very gregarious and knowledge owner/salesperson. It was a pleasure visiting his store for the first time and meeting him. I learned it was a family business that he's now run for decades. The store is packed to the ceiling and displayed attractively out front, with just about everything you'd need/expect in a hardware store (not lumber yard.)I'd called in and he was able to salvage the correct part for my lawn mower from one that was located "out back." He saved me approx. $20 by getting me the handle I needed, which didn't have it's own individual part number, without having to by the whole self-propel control unit.I will return.”

“OMG!! I just LOVE this place!! Needed a 4x8 sheet of plywood to fix my couch. I did NOT have time to head out to the local big box store so I figured I’d give these guys a try. Their prices were very competitive and to top it all off. They have a Drive through loading system and I did not even have to load the lumber into my truck. I wasn’t exactly sure what size thickness plywood I needed to fix my couch and the man behind the counter guides me to pick out the right thickness. They also have stone, gravel , pavers and other products not to mention screws, tools and regular hardware. I’d highly recommend you give these guys a try and see all that they have to offer!!!”
“So close to my house and didn’t know it wasn’t just for contractors had 4 inch baseboard Home Depot and Lowe’s didn’t for way cheaper and it wasn’t MDF!! The warehouse guy shrink wrapped it all and helped me get 5 16’ pieces of baseboard in my truck couldn’t be more pleased”
