“I cold-called to inquire about the process and cost of a key duplication for a vehicle I was considering purchasing. The folks here went completely out of their way to find information for me and provide advice. Amazing customer service for someone who wasn't even a customer - but based on other reviews, this seems in line with their values. Thank you GTP!”

“A friend told me to come here because another place was trying to charge me over double the price for the same job. Lisa at the front desk was so friendly and it only took 1/2 hour to complete a job that the other place made me sit for 3 hours before I walked out. Thank you so much to Blairs team”

“Cliff's was highly recommended to me by a family friend. I was having engine problems (it was rather intense), they figured it out whereas other places were not able to. They also gave me a very reasonable price. I was so pleased with the work, the prices and the amazing customer service, I have been taking both of our vehicles to Cliff's ever since. I can't say enough good things about Jason & Jacob . These guys are very detailed oriented in making sure they are taking everything down you say. They are friendly, prompt and courteous. The prices have always been reasonable. We were very pleased with the mechanic's work each time and never had any issues. In every aspect , I would highly recommend Cliff's Direct Effect to anyone!”

“Stop because my tire light came on while driving to work and I probably only needed air but was starting to panic. The mechanic checked my tire pressure and put some air in for and I got safely back on the road. Thank you.”

“Ive bought a couple tires from them thru the years. Once they striped a lug nut but they went to salvos, bought another and replaced it for no extra charge. I bought a tire last winter, and just went to replace my rotors today, I couldnt get the lug nuts loose by hand. Road up there and they loosened them for me in 5 mins. Didnt charge, didnt ask for a receipt from the tire purchase.

They will be my 1st call if I ever need a cheap tire again.”

“For the last 5+ years my family has taken several cars to Jeff's for anything from a quick oil change to needing $2-3k of repairs. Their communication from staff is great. The mechanics work quickly and give much better and more affordable prices than a dealership ever would. We have yet to have a problem with any of our cars that Jeff's couldn't handle in a timely manner. 11/10 I highly recommend that everyone bring their vehicles here.”

“I was referred to this garage by a friend, and I will be doing the same from now on! I was looking for a shop with people who were knowledgeable, wouldn't overcharge me, honest and answer questions I had which I found here! They went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was running safely and correctly.”

“Just got my car back. What I like about the shop is they are clean (for an auto shop) and efficient. Have a 2016 Subaru that had a power steering failure. No pumps or fluids. All electronic and was determined that the control module failed. So was quoted $800+ to remove and replace. I figured this was about right (what do I know?) so I approved the repairs. I should have done some sleuthing online though. The MSRP for the part is $507. However, Subaru is discounting the part at $397. Per the cost breakdown on the receipt, I paid almost $570 on the part. I expect a little mark up on parts as profit for the shop but a nearly $200 markup is a bit much. Even still, I will give them 4 stars (-1 star for seemingly pocketing the savings from the discount). Another shop probably would have charged the same. In order for me to enjoy the discounted cost on the part, I'd probably have to take it to a Subaru dealership. The closest one to me would have cost me $150-250 to tow, negating any savings the discount would have provided. What I have learned from this experience is don't discount using a dealership for repairs and service. There was a time when independent shops were the economical way to go. I am now not so sure that is the case any longer. I wish getting quotes for work before you commit to a shop was a bit easier so you can choose what is best for your budget. Once my car was towed to their shop, I was kind stuck. To get it elsewhere and quickly, I'd have to pay to tow again. I'd still use the shop for routine maintenance work since they are closer to me than a dealership but for the bigger and more costly work, I will take a look at the dealerships 1st.”

“Best Auto body shop in Maryland. Car looks brand new after repairs, like it was never even in an accident. The office staff and estimators/adjusters are very knowledgeable and have no problem taking the time to explain any questions or concerns. They also have a full service mechanical shop right next door which is also top notch!”

“Walked in and the guy behind the counter helped me immediately. I knew what I was looking for but was not too sure about the brand. He helped me and told me if I need to bring the part back I could. I didn't spend half as much as the dealership was charging me for the part.”

“But of course my vehicle's heating will stop working on the coldest week of the year! I visited 3 other well known auto shops before I called testimony auto.None of the other shops had the part in stock so I had to wait for several days to get it fixed not to mention the price that I was quoted. I called Testimony Auto, they had the part available and they were able to fix the vehicle same day. It only took less than 40 minutes to get my heating back on and on my way for a 1/3 of the price I had been quoted by the other shops.”

“Took my flat tire to get a new one put on the rim and it was done within 10 minutes for $40. I put the new one on my car(stuck on side of road with flat) and so far so good! I plan on going back to get my others done as it's not to great to only replace one tire.”
