This place has become a joke. The price gouging is through the roof. $150.00 for a bottle of buffalo trace?!?! Cross the border into PA it’s $40.00 or less. $20.00 for a 6 pack of troegs nugget nectar?!?! This used to be my fave liquor store, now they sell meth and crack pipes and everything is twice as much. Go to Paul’s Pit Stop or Mt. liquors, way better prices!!

Went in for Buffalo Trace and was disgusted with the price. They are charging $100 for a bottle with a suggested retail price of $30. Owner said that this was because they cannot get it, but it's on the shelf. The Blanton's was $400 a bottle. Paul's on South Seton sells it for $110. Shameful price gauging, will never walk in this place again.

Called to see if they had Blanton’s and was told yes, when I went to the store they were charging $399, definite price gauging. I’ll pay the $150 in DC.

I think it's now called Emittsburg Liquors (at least that's what my receipt text says), but this place is GREAT! It looks like a small place in a strip mall, so I wasn't expecting to find what I was looking for: grappa. When I entered, I received a friendly greeting, and was asked if they could help me find something particular. When I said I was looking for grappa, they not only had it (which surprised me!), they came out from behind the counter and showed me where it was. And they had THREE DIFFERENT KINDS! You won't find a friendlier place or one with a bigger selection (for its size). And the prices can't be beat. If I were going to open a liquor store, I would model it on this on in every way. :)

Fairly new to area (2yrs) and out of the three closest liquor stores in the town of Emmitsburg this is my #1 stop. I pretty much solely come to this location behind the Jubilee and by Wookie Walkers. The customer service is TOP TIER. It seems like every time I go in not only do they know me & my family (plus our usual preferences), other customers are also hype to see them when they walk in. My husband and I always like to chat with them, ask specific questions. They are great at making tasteful recommendations or sometimes take special order requests.I'm sorry this place on Yelp has nothing but old negative reviews. It has since been changed and definitely is not like that now. 10/10 this store is a gem! I'll update this review when I get a good picture next visit

Bobby is the best man. He's got the best prices around and he's got a phenomenal work ethic and personality. You can't go wrong coming in to see him. Great craft beer selection. He's always stocking the shelves with new products that come in which is awesome. I travel the US for work and very rarely do I see a liqour store that changes their stock as often as him. It keeps things exciting and spices up my cocktails.

Bob is the amiable store keeper who greets every customer with a warm and genuine smile and with his attitude of, "How may I help you?" Indeed, this young gentleman is sincere in showing you, the customer utmost respect, kindly patience, and service to you as you were the most important person to ever enter into the store. Bob shows me that honor every time I visit the store. An employee's attitude of service such as this is paramount to good business, and in addition the store itself is always clean, expertly arranged, well stocked, and abounding with products competitively priced.

A little cramped inside but they do have much to choose from. The employees are always nice and helpful. We prefer this over the other liquor store in town, and restaurants and the grocery store is right there. Gas station across the way. Conveniently located on my way home from work.

Bob at the Emmitsburg store is always smiling and greets me every time I enter the store!! He is always willing to help me find something in the store!!
