Great service, the tellers seem private and secure, along with fast processing time.

I’m a PA resident, I went to Tower to open account as a new member. When I went into show my ID they tried to say we can’t accept your ID because it’s not a real ID. PA doesn’t require its residence to have a real ID until 2025. The manager went to call corporate to verify my statement when she could’ve went on the PA DMV website. Corporate eventually approved my ID but then she also said I have to show proof of residence which I had electronically. Most bill payment and receipts are electronic. I could’ve easily went to Staples or OfficeMax and printed out my pay statement receipts and showed her. But I already got so many bad vibes from the manager. I felt like she was trying her hardest not to open an account for me. Furthermore, I’ve opened plenty of accounts in Maryland being a PA resident. I don’t recommend this bank to anyone!!

It is difficult to keep going to this branch since they changed the teller machines. No more deposit slips telling the teller where you want certain amounts deposited so you have to stand there and discuss your finances openly while others listen in. Also frustrating is if you want to withdraw money in form of a check you can not do that at the teller. You have to wait for one of the customer service persons to be able to help you. These are also the person who help people with big things like setting up or closing accounts, car loans, etc. So you can wait a long time for a simple thing like a withdrawal. Not sure what they were thinking in developing this redesign but it was not a thought of what would be good customer service.

I have been a customer a long time. I usually go to the branch on Snowden Pkwy in Columbia but occasionally come to this Ellicott City location. It was always very slow at the "teller" (meaning a person behind a screen) windows but now they have switched to something different and you no longer use deposit slips. That means if you have anything other than a straightforward deposit into only one account, you will have to converse with the teller behind the screen telling her what you want to do. To say that this is less than optimal is an understatement. Why do I want everyone else in the bank to hear what I am saying? Just not secure. There is also another slip up in the process that endangers customer account security but I won't say that on here. Also, if you want any kind of print out related to your account you have to get that done at the front counter & the lady has to print it out and go to the back of the office behind a door to get the print out. Not sure why Tower can't provide printers at each customer service person's desk?? All in all it has become less customer friendly and I may switch if I can find a bank that still cares about good customer service.

Worst tower federal I've been too because the atm machine outside always broke. I drive for 30 minutes to find out the atm broke.

Only 2 tellers working at a time make for a very long wait. Lots of staff standing around and chatting while the line is 8 people deep.

I was happy with the service when I walked in i guess because they wanted a new customer. They gathered all my information was expecting a call and an email never received either. I went next day to check on the status they were pretty lost they ran my credit said my income does not match really disappointing I was told you will get the best rates nothing but waste of time. I hope who ever reads this will save them time.

Arrived at the bank 15 mins before close and desperately needed an important document...Katrina Lockett completely went out of her way to help me and get everything sorted out before closing. Her customer service was outstanding!!

I have been a member for 8 years and not once has this "bank" helped me out. If you don't care about where you bank and want the slowest ATM/ customer service around then this is your spot. There has been multiple times where I have needed the atm/teller service around 4:30/5 on a Friday after getting off of work and not only are the employees walking out early, but their ONE atm never accepts cash deposits. As an employee in the service industry for 10+ years most of my deposits are cash. I would've chosen 0 stars for the lack of reliability if it was an option. Save your money and more importantly your time by avoiding this "bank". Photo: Store hours: 9:30-5.... This was @4:50pm. I wouldn't of cared because everyone likes an early day, but there was a line of people outside. 11 of us had to use their ONE ATM.

The website is archaic at best, they actually purge your login info if you don't log in for 90 days and then you cannot without calling and receiving physical mail to set up the accounts again. We will be switching banks, this is absolutely crazy.

So at this bank was where I originally opened my account five years ago but since I live on the other side of town I don't get to go here often. I was here today and I have no complaints. Customer Service was great! I was waited on in less than two minutes. The member service rep was patient with me and answered all of my questions. Out of all of the Tower Federal Credit Unions this was my favorite location.
