Okay so this is about over a month ago. Please parents make sure to check on your baby. I was there for almost an hour and The baby/infant room was the first one. I could see the baby from the little glass in a swing CRYING for the entire time I was there. The teachers in there were heartless ignored him and left him to CRYY they wakes around him and picked up toys and just didn’t care because they were too tired to. Ughh My heart was racing and I just wanted to go in pick up the baby and soothe him. I couldn’t focus on anything. I actually confronted the front office staff and said gently “hey that baby has been nonstop crying” they answered “oh yeah it’s a busy time rn” like whattt??? So you let babies cryyy like crazy because it’s a busy time for teachers to go on break. Please if you can ask for some type of camera footage for your infants who literally can’t communite. The front office admins did seem nice but please pay attention to your staff members and remind them firmly that they cannot ignore a child and leave them in a swing to cry for an hour.

This school is amazing! My daughter goes here and she comes home everyday and tells me all about her day and what she learns. The teachers there are super nice. They're super welcoming. They make you feel like you're at home. They care about your concerns. They actually take the time to get to know you and your child. The front desk staff is super nice. They're always there to great you. They're super welcoming.

I have had amazing experience so far with the Goddard School of Ellicott City. From the caring and positive classroom teachers to the incredible director group, everyone has been so patient with me and my son (first timers). Separation was something both my son and I had to work on, and from our initial visit to the school, I have felt that the staff was really on our side. They made the transition seem doable!
I feel informed on my child’s day to day activities as well as confident that he is getting constructive and compassionate instruction. The communication between the directors and the families about events, school closures, and safety has been incredible. Between newsletters, emails, and notifications through the school's application, announcements are made effectively and efficiently to families. In my experience, so far, the teaching staff at the school is wonderful. They come up with creative activities, plans, books, and songs to get the children excited to learn the topics/themes they are presenting. They seem to cater to every child's interests with physical games and activities and creative projects, as well as encouraging them to build social connections with other children with group activities and learning many independent skills.

The Goddard School in Ellicott City is one of a kind! The directors are amazing - they welcome the families each day with smiles and plan fun and exciting events throughout the year to keep parents involved. My daughter absolutely loved her teachers, and came home each day raving about them. The curriculum kept my daughter engaged and I truly feel that she is at a more advanced education level than most 4 year olds I know - all because of Goddard! She was able to learn Spanish, Art, Music and more during her daily routines. The only reason we have left the school is because we moved :( We will truly miss the fun and educational culture that Kayleigh & Heather have created!

My daughter, presently 3 1/2 years old, has been at this Goddard School since she was a baby. Given we were new parents, my husband and I wrestled over what child care setting would be best for her. We couldn't be happier with our choice. The teachers and staff are very professional and are wonderful with the kids. One thing we noticed when we toured the place prior to choosing it was that, in every classroom, kids were being read to, and on every wall, artwork was proudly displayed amid bright signs and decor. It did not have the austere, sterile feeling of some daycares/schools--it was lively and happy. It continues to be lively and happy. There are constant learning activities, projects, art, play... and most importantly my daughter has been happy there. I remember one morning when I was dropping her off, she ran into two of her former teachers as we made our way to her classroom, each of whom brightly said hello to her. She turned to me and said, "I love school." Nothing makes a parent happier than knowing your child is safe, happy, and loved. And we have definitely gotten that here at the Goddard School.

We brought home our son at 18 months from abroad (adoption) and we were incredibly nervous about using daycare after our 3 month FMLA ran out. When we were hunting around we talked about language delays and the fact that he'd have had very little exposure to English before starting school. While most places expressed some reservations about this, Goddard took it completely in stride. He's been there two years now and he's not only caught up, but has surpassed many of his non-Goddard peers! The curriculum they follow and individual attention has been phenomenal. When we pick him up it seems like every teacher knows him (and all the other kids) by name even if he hasn't had them yet.
The front desk is always courteous and professional, and the admin staff has their kids there as well. So they're very much in tune with what issues are before they become a problem.
My wife and I both regularly comment about how happy we are to have our son at such an incredible place.

One star because, I've paid the fees for a turn and never received a call in the last 6 months, which I guess is fine. Bad part is, when asked for a return - the fees is non-refundable ! What a scam and a rip-off !!

Our daughter has really grown in PreK. We had our concerns entering the school year because she had never been in this sort of setting. With the help of her wonderful teachers she has really thrived! Thank you!!

The quality of education offered and the variety of stuff kids are exposed to is something that we highly appreciate...they are truly experts in instilling the love for learning in kids! The teachers & administrators are simply awesome. Our son loves Goddard and asks me on holidays & weekends "Can I go to school today?"...what else can I say? :-)

Super school, my sons vocabulary is progressing much faster since his attendance and he loves being there - no tears!
A great rounded curriculum; reading, drawing, physical activities, singing and having fun whilst their doing it!

My child has been to the school for almost 2 months. Initially, my child had strong "sudden separation" shock because this is his first time to leave mummy and dad for whole day. The school's teachers tried all sorts of means to help my son to feel more comfortable when staying at the school. The teachers tried to squeeze their busy timetable to meet my son's special requirements such as holding him on lap during lunch time. So far, my son had made progress in overcoming the separation shock, and I appreciate very much the efforts of the school's teachers.

My son is having some trouble adjusting to full day pre-k, after being in an in-home daycare setting for 4 years. His teachers, Ms. Sandra and Mr. Hashim have made him feel so special and so welcome. They've been instrumental in making his sad mornings much easier. In terms of academics, he’s excited to share what he is learning and has been practicing his letters and numbers every night. He does his “homework” while his 8 year old sister does hers and he’s so proud of himself!
