The food they offer and the shopping experience is great but had an unsettling experience yesterday when my phone died and needed to call cab. The 2 women in customer were very rude and unhelpful when I didn't have the cabs number. One women said outright I couldn't use her phone the other said we can't help you. I have just purchased 40$ in grocery. My question why are these rude women in customer service.!? I finally got the mangers attention and he was very kind and accommodating. I am 78 year women and the experience was both rude and unsettling. I had another rude experience with same woman when I lost phone and asked at customer service about it. Again very rude woman same one in customer service. Come on hire better employees! Thank you managers for being amazing and helpful

Ridiculous prices like most grocery stores.
Can't say I'd be wanting those salads in deli case. Looked abit past their prime.

I stopped by the long gate shopping center Safeway, Amber working in the flower department was incredibly rude to me when I asked for my flowers to be cute and tied with a bow for my granddaughters graduation. She commented on my requests saying the flowers will not look good and discouraging me not to get wrap and bow on the flower. By the way I usually go to Safeway at enchant foest and lady who work there alway go extra miles to accommodate my need and obviously Amber was not happy working and not willing to help customer

They need to check their produce closer and more regularly. I found mold on mandarin oranges yesterday.
Also prices are still MUCH higher than your competitors. Gotta get a handle on it or you will continue to lose customers.

Today is my son’s birthday and this bakery location used to have a great cake decorator who I heard left, but I still used them for birthday cakes. I went to pickup his cake and they didn’t have it. Accused me of calling the wrong Safeway. I had to show them my call log and the guy named Chris who took my order they called and he lied and said he never took my cake order. My call log showed I called them 4 days ago and placed my cake order, they lost my cake order, gave me a junky one from the case and barely apologized. Terrible service. I will not be back to get cakes here. The store is terrible too for groceries. Much better stores in the area.

Shopped here for four months; produce is hit and miss on freshness, baskets for quick shopping trips were removed, most items have been getting much more expensive as of late

This store is well lit and inviting. I come here often. However, over the past few months, I haven't been able to buy store brand white bread here. Today, for example, the bakery personnel were walking away with a cart of the bread that I believe was expired. I looked at the remaining loaves of bread, and many of them were dated yesterday, and the remaining ones were dated to expire today. I bought a different, more expensive brand that was dated a week out. This isn't an isolated incident. The bread has been consistently expired each time I went there over the past few months.

Clean and bright store with excellent produce section, deli/prepared-foods department and floral desk/area. Service associates are very professional and helpful.

I gave it 2 stars because the store is very clean compared to giant. But they are always out of things. Shelves will be empty like there was a hurricane coming and everyone rushed the store. And I’ve seen this on several different occasions. The ready meals section is always empty which is really disappointing. I’ll have to stick with Giant.Also, for the prepared foods they have out, make sure you check the sell by date! I made that mistake and bought food that was past the sell by date. Clearly the shelves are not restocked frequently.

Easy to take applications on line. A little bit time consuming to cancel or reschedule an appointment on line. Excellent customer service!!
