Called Oella because their site was acting up. And it was worth taking the time, we talked for 40 minutes got everything ordered and at the same time got a bunch of additional advice on proper setup and recommendations. Pricing was very good also.

I got really lucky when I stumbled across the Oella website while searching for cutters for my Powermatic Planer. Hands down the cheapest price. Others not even close. Free shipping, and unbelievably the order shipped with a tracking number not more than 30 minutes after I placed it.

As a custom furniture maker, I need to make moldings in house, and I tend to draft them from scratch. I’m definitely not a review writer but definitely had to take time to tell my experience with Dave at Oella Tool.I needed a Shelix head for a Powermatic jointer. Did my research on the 72k available heads for this machine and contacted Dave. It was amazing talking with someone extremely educated on the weird stuff we go thru as woodworkers trying to maintain our machines and explain to third parties. He knew everything to check for and who to call. Within the hour he found what may have been the only shelix head in existence at the time for this machine.I’m writing this review much more for the personal contact and care I received than the head. Yes it was perfect, but it was supposed to be, service is the variable. It was 5 star. He was interested in our operations and called me by name. I was NEVER left wondering what was going on. We in this industry need to support those few who are left to support us. I will be using Dave plenty in the future and I don’t care if it costs more or less, if I can help keep someone like this in our industry who helps us I will.Lastly I’d like to point out on my invoice included in the shipment there was a handwritten note from Dave wishing my son and I good luck. Who does that anymore……..someone we need to support is who:)Thank you Dave

I was having difficulty locating the right sized blade for my 40 year old Powermatic 8-inch Model 60 Jointer. It was not a common size and Dave said, "no problem"... we can just cut one down from a slightly larger size for just a few bucks. Awesome! Oella later provided a copy of the original Owners Manual that suggested a more common sized blade - ended up getting both sizes as the manufacture said both would work. Blades were delivered just a few days later in perfect condition. I will be using Oella for my future woodworking tool needs.
