The staff at Medstar physical therapy are fantastic! From the moment you walk in, until you walk out, everyone is so kind and helpful. The PT professionals really know what they are doing. James is amazing! He really cares about his patients and takes the time to listen to all of your concerns. His knowledge is unbeatable.

First time ever having any physical therapy done to me , and it was the best experience I could have had , Thanks to my therapist Kerstin Waltz. I wasn’t sure that my hand would ever be back to normal . Kerstin assured me and educated me and did a wonderful job getting my hand better than it was before surgery. Kerstin was always delightful and made the experience absolutely great. She is a Gem !!!

I received physical therapy as part of my recovery from a broken leg. The targeted exercises Christina employed definitely helped me regain strength and agility rapidly--very important since I had been confined to a wheel chair for 3 1/2 months. Within just a few weeks I had achieved my goal of walking again normally--which is wonderful!

I had a very good experience with Medstar physical therapy. The exercise program was customized to my injury. And the results were exceptional. Detailed instructions were given so I could continue the exercises at home. Everyone on the staff was helpful and supportive.

Kerstin was great. everyone at that facility was awesome. I can't say that about a lot of other MedStar Medical Groups. I would recommend everyone to that group.

This is the third time that I tried physical therapy. Due to my health, I have to stop twice. I finally finished it -- third time is the charm! Thanks to James Chen for making the process easy.James and team are very helpful, used their experiences and training to help in my recovery. James and his group are caring and kind and focused on therapies to strengthen and heal whatever the needs may be. They work with you as a team to consistently improve your outcome. Thank you for all the assistances.

MedStar Physical Therapy at Ellicott City is an outstanding facility. The entire staff is very professional, friendly and caring. I sprained my ankle pretty badly and after wearing the boot for awhile, I had to start physical therapy. I am so glad I went to this facility. My two therapists were Kristina and Kevin. They took excellent care of me, provided instructions to continue therapy at home and even on vacation. In less than 2 weeks, my ankle felt way better. I even got a great shoe recommendation to help with daily walk as I really enjoy walking.

This is the best physical therapy office I have ever received treatments at! All therapists that worked with me are very knowledgeable, friendly. All services are on time, offering many treatments including hand therapy, suction cups and needles. Recommend it 100%!

Yasmine was awesome! I has pains in my shoulder and no longer do after the exercises she had me do. While I’m not sure as to whether it was a direct result of the physical therapy, I really appreciated her attentiveness and friendliness.

I started physical therapy at MedStar Health in February following surgery for a broken elbow. In the past I have used another PT organization for recoveries from knee, shoulder, and bicep surgeries, as well as other ligament issues, but due to staffing changes I no longer had any reason to continue there and this group was highly recommended to me by a friend. This physical therapy group is wonderful! I work predominantly with James Chen, who is very knowledgeable and personable. The entire staff is friendly and professional. I have extensive experience with PT and highly recommend MedStar Health in Ellicott City for your recovery needs.
