“Our phlebotomist at this Quest location, Hope, was extremely helpful and skilled! My college daughter usually feels faint or actually faints when her blood is drawn. Hope had her lie down, as we requested. Then, when she started the process of drawing blood, Hope engaged my daughter in animated conversation about college with both of them laughing. My daughter hardly noticed the blood draw. For the first time, she did not feel faint afterwards. Hope explained that the talking and laughing was more than a distraction - it also expelled carbon dioxide. She also told my daughter that coughing if she started to feel faint would expel more carbon dioxide, and thus could prevent actually fainting. I also needed bloodwork, and Hope helped me clear up confusion with orders from my doctor. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional!”

“I’m one of those people with extremely difficult veins. I always make sure to mention this when getting blood drawn because I usually get stuck at least 2 times before getting the baby needle in my hand (where I always encourage the phlebotomist to go). Well Tanisha is one of the resident experts here and she found a new spot! She said “watch this” ??? Thanks Tanisha!”

“Staff was very nice. The doctor was also nice and got straight to the diagnosis. In and out. This is my 3rd or 4th time going. Of course it’s always the wait time but even that wasn’t to bad. Better than the wait time at the hospital. I like coming here”

“Dana is the absolute best! I had a negative experience at another Labcorp location that left me feeling anxious about getting another round of bloodwork but switching to this spot was a great decision. Dana is very good at his job and the bloodwork was virtually painless. Will definently be returning here the next time I need labs!”

“Beware of billing!!

I visited Elite Urgent Care in January of 2024, and must warn you that while the medical care that was provided was very professional, you will be blindsided with an unexpected bill weeks or months after your visit.

Regarding strictly the day of visit experience, the waiting room and patient examination rooms are very clean and well kept, the “front of house” reception staff is very polite, the wait time was reasonable, and the doctor provided adequate and professional care.

What soured my experience with Elite Urgent care, however, was their unforthcoming billing practice. At the time of the visit, after filling out all necessary new patient forms, and providing and verifying that the visit was covered though my insurance provider, the front desk staff confirmed that per my insurance coverage all that would be due for the visit was a $50 copay. I then remitted payment before seeing the doctor. Again when leaving after the examination was completed, I confirmed with the staff that payment had been completed and no additional charges would be applied.

Then, months later I received an invoice from Elite Urgent Care for $115.

The phone number that the invoice directs you to call in the case of billing questions is their office telephone number, which is apparently not the appropriate number to call with billing questions.

To add insult to injury, after going back and forth attempting to reach the billing department in order to find out where the disconnect was between being told that the copay had settled the visit cost, and then receiving an unexpected invoice, I received an second notice in the mail with an added “late charge” added.

If clear cut expectations for cost and billing are not important to you, I can say that the care provided was sufficient. Otherwise, I may recommend Patient First, or Teledoc.

UPDATE :

After receiving a call from Elite Urgent Care’s billing department, billing specifics were clarified, and billing was adjusted to be more in line with what the expectations were as set by office staff on day of visit.

I commend Elite Urgent Care for their response to this issue.

In particular, Jennifer with the billing department was very thorough and professional in her assistance.”

“Always have a good experience here. We usually have to wait a bit, but they are worth the wait! Asia is great with my son. After multiple visits at other labs, we have finally found a lab that sticks my son once and is done!”

“I had the BEST experience here. I got there within an hour of them opening without an appointment and they saw me within 10 minutes. The phlebotomist was amazing - I have tiny veins and always have difficulty with getting my blood drawn. She did it within seconds and painlessly. And she was so lovely on top of it. I had to go for a 3 hour glucose test (4 blood draws within 3 hours) and she did all four draws seamlessly. I am so grateful for her. The only thing that I will say is as it got later in the day the office got a lot busier - it’s a small office. But they were going quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend this office.”

“I passed out pretty much immediately after my blood draw this morning and the staff could not have been more helpful, empathetic, patient, and kind. 10/10 would pass out here again. I wish I could remember the phlebotomists' names so I could give them the full credit they deserve.”

“Had a test here last week, arrived early and checked in, they called me right away. Very thorough and had a nice conversation with the tech. I get a lot of blood draws and while my typical in network is another brand this appointment and Quest in general were great!

EDIT: Since this visit I have come 2 other times and both experiences were great. On top of that, just happy I can buy my own bloodwork, in one case one of the test eliminated the need for me to follow up with a doctor on a suspected issue, and another was able to demonstrate to my doctor that an issue WAS occurring. Self-agency in healthcare is a massive thing to have.”

“This is for the self service look. I have been on the regular lane in the past and had a great experience as well. The self service kiosk is located on the side of the building towards the exit. Come prepared with your tag number and last four digit of your VIN number. Credit card payment only. I’ll suggest you locate your car OBDII connection socket before coming as well to save time. You will most probably need to get on your knees to plus the device into your car.The instructions are fairly easy to understand and follow. Do not forget to take your print out before driving off. Good luck!”

“My daughter and I went to this location last weekend to get her blood! My nine year old daughter, was really scared and terrified to go, because of the terrible experience, we had on our last visit! When I arrived, I was happy to learned that there were new employees and that they have gotten rid of that EVIL woman! The young lady, Mirah was a BLESSING to my daughter and I! She was very professional, and polite! She was so sweet, caring and gentle with my baby! The last woman we had was very mean, nasty and evil. The woman shoved that needle in my baby's arm while I looked away to distract my baby! And I believed she used the biggest one! At the time, I thought my mind was playing tricks on, and maybe I was tripping! But after talking to other people, they experienced the same too! She is really a sick person, enjoying torturing, inflicting pain on kids for enjoyment. Then to hear she's at another location, is crazy! You guys NEED TO INVESTIGATE this woman and get RID of that evil woman, FOREVER! SHE'S EVIL!! Now back to Miss, Mirah! Thanks so much for making my daughter feel comfortable! So parents, if u want someone u can TRUST, who will has patience and will be gentle with your babies! Go to this location, and ask for lil Miss, Mirah, she's the best!”

“I have had bad experiences with incompetent technicians who stuck me and dug the needle around below the skin. I've been left with significant bruising and subdermal bleeding. So now I have a speech prepared before I am touched. I advise the phlebotomist that I can be a "difficult stick", and therefore need an expert. If they can't get it on the first try, I'm leaving. JANEL, my phlebotomist this time was very understanding of my anxiety. She has a wonderful chair-side manor. She exhibited great care, skill and composure which put me at ease. I will return to this location and request her in the future.”

“The Staff are extremely nice, professional, and very well educated. I'm not good with remembering names but the two young ladies that were on staff, I made a mistake and scared one of them when I walked to the back unannounced. It was funny (lol) afterwards and again I truly apologize.”

“It was a good visit. The young lady who drew my blood was friendly and professional. I shared with her the challenge of drawing my blood, and she listened, allowing me to avoid having to get stuck more than once. She further shared information regarding fasting for the type of blood work I needed. There weren't a lot of people at the time of my visit. Plenty of parking. I will definitely use this location in the future.”

“Stopped in on a Monday morning for a quick lab test. They accept walk ins but service is quicker with a scheduled appointment. Use the kiosk to check in. The service was quick and the phlebotomist was friendly. Waiting room was clean and large, plenty of seating.”

“This afternoon, I had an appointment at LabCorp for a blood draw, and overall, I was very pleased with the experience. The staff were professional, friendly, and efficient. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and I didn't have to wait long to be seen.

The phlebotomist was skilled and gentle, making the blood draw process almost painless. They took the time to ensure I was comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly. The facility was clean and well-maintained, which added to the positive experience.

I appreciate the professionalism and care shown by the LabCorp team and would definitely recommend their services to others.”

“Great experience.
I was nervous bringing my little one in due to experiences in other labs. However the staff at this location did a great job. From the beginning at the reception desk they were very welcoming, friendly and professional. I will definitely come to this location in the future for any labs needed for my children or myself.”

“I've been coming here for over 8 years and never had a bad experience, whether during Covid or at any other time. I'm not self centered and entitled, so I don't mind the usually fairly short wait times (though during Covid there were a couple visits that had longer lines out the door. But they still moved through surprisingly fast). The staff has always been friendly, professional, and good at drawing blood (and I've traditionally been hard to draw from at other facilities, including hospitals). I've found that in busy businesses, regardless of type, a bit of courtesy and friendliness towards the staff goes a long ways. I've seen some pretty rude customers in there, and they're going to be having a bad time, regardless of how nice the staff is to people.”
