Had a wonderful experience working with Mojan and Main Street Oriental Rugs. They were able to come straight to us and have our rugs cleaned and restored (they had been chewed by carpet moths while in storage). We're so grateful to them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a rug cleaner and repairer in the DC metro area.

Great experience, fair price, and a clean hand-woven antique rug!
Really pleased with the service, and cleaning of my rug! I will definitely use them again!! I spilled homemade blueberry/strawberry/yogurt and chia smoothie on my rug and it looks good as new!

We have purchased a number of rugs from Mr. Bagha over the years and have been extremely happy with our purchases. In addition, we've been very impressed by the quality and cost of the rug cleaning services...don't bring your valuable rugs anywhere else. Lastly, everyone in the entire store is so helpful even when we ask them to flip through a hundred rugs...literally. Mr. Bagha is so knowledgeable and much more interested in keeping happy customers than he is with making a sale. This isn't a pressured sales environment but a friendly conversation and education. We recently went shopping for an 8' X 10' area rug, not knowing whether we wanted to get a Contemporary rug or an Oriental rug.
We shopped at two stores in Baltimore County and then visited Main Street Oriental in Ellicott City. From the outside the store looks quite modest, but once inside we were welcomed by Mr. Mojan and found an excellent selection of Oriental rugs. We bought a rug that we love and at a fair price.

I walked into Main Street Oriental Rugs and was greeted by Sabino. He was welcoming and kind and helpful. He listened to what I had in mind and took note of my choices. And then proceeded to find the exact rug I wanted when I was reviewing my other choices. I found another rug as well. Everything taken to my car. The pads were available two days later. I was promptly called for pick up and given expert advice regarding pads for other oriental rugs. My giant dogs move rugs into heaps by their racing around my home. This no longer happens because of my fresh terrific pads. It may seem mundane. But those pads make a huge difference.
This was such a positive wonderful experience. I will be a customer for many years.

Hint— oriental rugs are wonderful if you are a pet lover. They are resilient and do not show dirt and are so very durable and so beautiful!!!

Had a wonderful experience at Main Street Oriental Rugs. Mr Bagha was so knowledgeable and friendly. A ‘no pressure’ sales. Mr Bagha and his team patiently walked us through the various types of rugs available, knew exactly what we needed and found it in his impressive inventory of rugs. Most importantly, Mr. Bagha allowed us to take the rug we were interested home for the evening to see if we liked it in our home. HIGHLY Recommend Main Street Oriental Rugs!!

I had two antique, art deco rugs serviced here. I had my silk one washed and had the edges binded and I had my larger, wool one binded as well. They were very helpful with getting them from my car, communicative about suggestions for maintaining my rugs, and I felt the prices offered were very fair. Now that we have settled in the area I feel comfortable saying that this is going to be my store for maintaining all the antique rugs in our home. I'll return!
I do recommend for others to try to come by during the weekdays before 3pm as that's the most likely time to get closer parking. Main Street, Ellicot City can be a little finicky with parking. There is a "loading only" parking area right across the street and that parking is valid for use for this business while bringing in and picking up rugs.

My beautiful 20 year old rug looks like new again! I am so amazed that the colors are again so vibrant and are so clear. I was worried that it would be difficult to clean a silk rug, but they knew just what to do!! Everyone at Main Street Oriental rugs was so kind and their expertise was so welcome to me.
