The staff at this location are really a joke! I was intending to have my taxes prepared by one of their reps, Marianne Johnson and she seemed like she didn't know anything about tax preparation I knew more about the taxes than she did which is pretty sad statement... she had me going in circles losing information, lying about when & what documents I had provided her SMH. They were going to charge me 500 and some odd dollars to do my simple 1040 EZ taxes when I contacted another H&R Block in a different location I only ended up paying 300. This is ridiculous and completely a rip off how can they even get away with this? DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY AT CENTER PARK DRIVE!

Usually I have had good experiences with H&R Block, but this appointment my tax lady was extremely curt, and outright rude! I will not put names on here, but for someone in the business for 24 years to act so huffy and disappointed in me for having a complicated return... was surprising to say the least. I actually *apologized* to her for having a complex return (she was visibly agitated so I thought it would make it better). She completely ignored my “sorry” and said nothing. She spent the latter half of the appointment sighing audibly and refusing to make eye contact...PIECE DE RESISTANCE: as I was leaving, she said snarkily, while I was still standing there, to her next appointment “you don’t have any surprises for me do you?!?”Taxes are already stressful enough, there is a reason I PAY someone to do my complicated taxes- I do not expect to get this kind of attitude from a seasoned professionalWill NOT be returning for 2021 returns to this location.EDIT:The branch manager is also extremely rude and told me she would listen to my “story” and then proceeded to tell me it sounds like I just wasn’t correctly prepared for my appointment..The whole reason I hire I tax professional is because I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t need tax professionals I’m paying to further belittle me and demean my lack of knowledge.Unbelievably BAD customer service

My Grandma is 99 years old and Ellen has done her taxes four times. She is kind and patient even when there are multiple family members in the mix "HELPING". The family includes her son the "Know It All" Genius Mathematical Wonder and her Grand Daughter the "Know It All" Nurse. My Grandma is the "I don't need any help" sprite young 99 year old that still lives in her condo by herself. We love her so much and Ellen went right along answering every question and squeezing us in during short our trip. Grandma got to sign right in the car.
