Have brought all of my dogs here for years. The staff is kind and courteous and the Doctors are very responsive and professional.

Since Covid began in 2020, it can be difficult to get an appointment for your pet. There seems to be a shortage of vets now. My dog has been seen by relief vets on two different occasions when I had her in for health issues. They do communicate with her regular vet. They weren't accepting new patients for a while. I don't know if that has changed.

I absolutely loved this vet. I moved out of state recently and leaving Dunloggin was one of the hardest things about moving away. Dr. Gibbons is one of the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians I've ever encountered. The staff there are wonderful and friendly and handled all my dogs with great care. I can not recommend them enough.

I have been taking my pibble here for years and I love the care that I receive everytime. Every vet and vet tech has been very knowledgeable and empathetic. Prices are reasonable especially for Howard county.

This amazing, majority female veterinary hospital runs like a well oiled machine. They are super knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. When I moved to Catonsville last year, finding a top rated vet office for my Australian Cattle Dog was a top priority and I'm so happy I found Dunloggin when I did.Despite their parking lot being on the small side, I've never had any trouble finding a parking space because the staff all park behind the building in an even smaller parking area. This is the first evidence of Dunloggin putting their patients' human friends at the front of the line. The office is small and the hallway could easily become a point of high anxiety for you and your pet. But the staff does their best to coordinate the movement of people and pets to ensure there aren't any high stress incidents for anyone.Take your precious pet to this animal hospital. You won't regret it.

This is the 3rd time in the past 2 years that my pup needed a sick visit and we couldn’t get her in anywhere. She wasn’t sick enough for an ER but she was too sick to just be left without a visit. We left Dunloggin during COVID and went to Banfield (just to have in room visits since my dog is anxious). Dunloggin got her in the same day I called and thank goodness. Dr Shobe was so kind and sensitive to her complex history of GI issues. I could not have asked for a more thorough and thoughtful provider for her. We went with a conservative approach and Dr Shobe walked through all potential causes for her symptoms. I know she is a relief vet but sign her up as my dog’s primary care! Thank you Dunloggin for relieving the stress of a difficult time by getting her in and thank you Dr Shobe for your help!

I can't praise this veterinary practice enough. 7.5 years ago we moved from Arlington, VA and needed a new vet for our 1.5 year old puppy. Dunloggin was recommended by our neighbor and over the years this practice has proven their excellence and dedication to veterinary care time and time again. All of their doctors and staff have been extremely patient and caring, despite my dogs extensive allergies and medical needs. One example of this is 5 years ago, when our dog was in a traumatic accident needing daily doctor visits for weeks, and a surgery. The amount of specialized care and sensitivity they gave to us and our pup at that specific time was well above and beyond. We will never ever forget how professional, patient and wonderful they were at handling the difficult situation and our dog's recovery. We can't thank them enough for all the years of care they've provided for our furbaby. Thank you Dunloggin, for your steller business and outstanding patient care! You definitely raise the bar for other veterinary practices. It's only fitting on our pups 9th birthday, we write this review and thank those who were key in keeping him so healthy and happy all these years. ❤️ ??

Been coming here a few years, now. Every single visit is a great experience. You can tell everyone really loves animals, here. I could move an hour away, and I would still bring Johnny here. Doctors and staff, just wonderful.

Hands down the best care for your pets! I see Dr. Holland, but all the docs are great.. They always accommodate and even though my dog is mean, they take the very best care of him and are so nice to him..

Dunloggin Vet is a solidly good practice for when your pet is well, giving vaccinations and for pet meds. If there is a real problem with your pet, you need to go elsewhere. They don’t accommodate any acute care appointments, even if you have been going there for decades and even if your pet is on the brink of death. The emergency vet down the street is their only answer. I’ve learned that a lot of vet practices are set up like this, apparently. So, yes for sure go here if you just want routine care, like a primary care physician. The staff there clearly cares and they enjoy animals. If you’re looking for someone to actually care for your pet during sickness, as if that pet were your family—which ours is—then try another vet that offers acute care. Check the other lower reviews, they’re all the same. The problem only happens when there’s a problem.

Just an overall great experience. All the staff really cares about your animal. I ask a lot of questions and feel really informed. Animals can't talk so you have to rely on Dunloggin for their care. I would recommend to anyone. They make it easy.

I've been nothing but impressed and so thankful for the wonderful, affordable service at Dunloggin. They have been helpful in providing excellent care for our two aging cats. I appreciate their great communication and friendly service every single time.

I have had my animals with Dunloggin Vet for the time they were puppies/kittens until the end of their lives. Over the past few years, I have noticed lack of care from the front desk as well as the vets themselves. I have tried to get my animal in (whether they are on the brink of death or for a reoccurring C. diff infection) and the earliest they can get them in is several days-weeks later. I have had to take my animals to other vets to be put down because Dunloggin simply can't be bothered. I do not feel Dunloggin vet makes the effort to see my pet when I need them to.

I started bringing my dog to Dunloggin after a bad experience with another vet. I brought her in for a second opinion and have made the full switch to them for all of her care. Dr. Shulkin and the techs really care about the well-being of my dog instead of my wallet.
