If you don’t bank at this branch, aren’t a senior citizen or look a certain way be prepared for Ruthie to attempt to assert a false sense of dominance over you. I have over $100,000 across 3 accounts. Next negative experience it will all be moved.

PNC fraud department department called me on 12/3 to discuss some fraudulent activity. It was so they shut the card down and told me my new card would be here in a "couple of days". Well, I can't pay any bills, can't login either to the app or online. I have no access to my own account through but through my husband. I first contacted the Fraud Dept., who haven't got a clue between someone reporting fraud and someone else who is asking where her replacement card is. Their response is 3 more text messages telling me there appear to be fraudulent charges on my card, -that's what I WAS TOLD WHEN THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT CONTACTED ME!?! So I called Customer Service and after going through 7 levels of Dante's hell, I got an obviously ously English speaking young ng young lady from the next circle of hell. She kept telling me my sign on was bmears... I told her I hadn't used that in quite sometime. Then try the online Banking with the same email. When I told her it didn't connect, she hung up on me! B**ch, didn't even give me a chance to hang up on her. Een I told her it didn't connect, she hung up on me! B**ch, didn't even give me a chance to hang up on her.

It was a pleasure working with Shamira from the Elkton Mall Branch after having a bad experience (Less than 1 star if I was rating the North East branch).Shamira fit us in on a Saturday since my mother was visiting from out of town and had to head home. We had tried to get into the North East Branch early Friday and despite no one in the lobby, 4 tellers with no one at the counter, no one in the drive through and one employee in an office working with a customer, none of the employees could assist with opening a savings account except the lone employee in the office working with the only customer in the branch and that employee was supposedly booked for the rest of the day and Saturday also.When we called the PNC at the mall in Elkton, we were lucky to speak to Shamira who squeezed us in on Saturday so my Mom could get back home since she was already delayed a day. She greeted us the next day at 10am with genuine kindness and was very helpful and made sure she knew exactly what my Mom was wanting and helped us get things setup. We did run into some system issues; however, Shamira calmly suggested options where my Mom could still head home and I came back on Monday and finished setting the account up.PNC needs more Shamira's at their other branches or they need her to Train customer service to their cashiers. I know that there are different roles that people hold; however, when staffing a branch, there should be more emphasis on cross-training employees or staffing appropriately (especially on a Friday) for potential walk in's needing services that result in long term business for the branch so they aren't turned away and there is potential for lost business.If it was my choice, I would have chosen a different bank; however, my Mom does business with PNC back home in Pennsylvania and wanted to try another branch.Because of Shamira, I am glad my mom suggested we try another branch.

I had it ALL WRONG. WILL IS ONE OF THE BEST BANK PEOPLE I MET IN RECENT YEARS.I tried to call the Elk Plaza branch of PNC Bank numerous times yesterday morning 7/11/23. The phone rang and rang and rang. You could tell it was being forwarded and forwarded and forwarded. I called another branch and ended up speaking to someone in the Phillipines. I told the person I wanted to make an appointment at this branch. She asked me a few questions and put me on hold. After 10 minutes I gave up. I called another number and the Philippines again. She put me on hold and then miraculously a Will at this (Elkton) branch picked up (there were calls made to other PNC #'s). I explained what I had gone through. I asked for an appointment for that afternoon (I had started the phone marathon in the morning). Here it is 1pm and he had no appointments until the next morning. I said after all I have been through?! I asked to speak to a manager or better yet someone in corporate. He said he could not do that. I said I need this resolved. He said he could forward me to 'customer care'. I said, where, in the Philippines? He said he did not know.I asked how long he had been working for PNC. He said a dozen years. A dozen years and he doesn't know such things?Time to pull the plug on PNC. Look at all the complaints out there. With all the banking problems out there (e.g. Silicon Valley Bank & others), you would think PNC would get their act together. Time for everyone to flush this bank..They are not going to make it with business practices like this.P.S. there were calls made to other PNC numbers during this marathon morning session with PNC.Jeff 7/12/23 at 10;50am

Since making big changes in May and letting go of good tellers, the whole experience there has gone down hill. There are always lines now. I have walked out twice because of them being under staffed. The Branch Manager says there is nothing she can do. Well, start acting like a Branch Manager by improving customer service. Learn to take a stand with corporate. It only gets worse since they closed the branch in downtown.

Typical bank with friendly tellers. Though being a poor person I'm not a fan of the $500 minimum account minimum. If your balance drops below $500 they charge you either $7 or $8 a month just to keep your account. So keep this in mind if you ever let your balance drop below $500. I only bank there because my work doesn't do direct deposits and they charge a fee to cash checks if your not a member.

Elk mall branch was so not helpful. I went to the one on Main Street in Elkton MD and they were very helpful with an issue I was having. Went back to the Elk Mall branch and was helped by a teller that was great. So I guess it depends on who you are dealing with.

ATM machine is always broken and when attempting to try to speak to a banker he wasn’t helpful at all when I said I wasn’t hearing what was being asked since the machines look a decade old.
