Didn’t accept my insurance and never told me about it.Was going to this pharmacy for years. Always wondered why my medicine cost so much and had asked them numerous times about it and they told me my insurance didn’t cover much of the prescription and not that they don’t accept that insurance.

Picked this pharmacy out of location convenience but they do not have scripts ready until you go in - then they start filling it. There was a nationwide insurance outage one day and the girl just said insurance is out we didnt fill it. I was caught off guard so I should have asked follow up questions but they were kind of busy and I just wanted out of there. But she couldnt tell me the cash price or the Good RX price? I check my insurance claims a few days later (after picking up the script finally) and it says "you were charged this because of Northside Pharmacy" and the price seemed high. It didnt even look like they submitted it to insurance and insurance didnt pay anything for it. This American health system is so broke.

I have been a long time customer. However, there are always different kids behind the counter. The two older women are always lovely! The dress code here is little to be desired. Clearly, there is no dress code! My most recent experience was a very small, young girl wearing a shirt with her entire stomach showing. I can overlook blue hair and everyday clothes but I do NOT want to see your skin! Also, my RX is never ready. They will begin to fill it once I’ve arrived. So I sit there for 30-40 mins waiting!

I always try to support small businesses m, however, this place has completely gone downhill. No communication, medications on “backorder”, call in refills in the morning, go in the afternoon and the meds are still not ready, or the kids behind the counter not understanding simple math.

What happened to this place? I go in there on a Tuesday evening to have my son’s asthma medication Picked up. They tell me they can’t find his medication and someone will call me when they find it. Fast forward to the next day, I have to call them around noon and they say they tried to call me, but the wrong number was file and proceed to read back my correct number??♂️ Then the kid tells me the prescription is ready, come in and get it at any time. I go in to get it, and for a good 20 minutes they can’t find my son’s medication. It’s unfortunate, but I’m finding a different pharmacy.

Went in to order a pair of orthopedic shoe's. No one to help at this time. But someone told me l need a appointment. Was given a time and date. Returned to find no help again with a appointment! A pharmacist helped and picked out a pair. Was supposed to get a call back but never did! Poor customer service!

Wonderful staff very helpful and understanding. After VA blocked my ability to have a important medication filled this pharmacy took it on and provided great service and reduced price for the script.

NORTHSIDE Pharmacy is the worst pharmacy I have ever used & I’ve used many over the years all over the country. Dave, one of the owners & a head pharmacist, used to go the extra mile for his customers & go above & beyond to ensure they were taken care of. He knew all the customers by their first name & would say hi & make you feel like it was truly your “friendly neighborhood pharmacy” whenever you came in. But things have changed drastically. Now when my mom tells him something she knows for a fact is covered by Medicare, he simply says, “no it’s not, you’re wrong.” He doesn’t want to call them himself & take the time to do the extra steps involved. He simply told her, “well I need to get paid.” My mom had already called Medicare & they confirmed that it was in fact covered under Part D, but the pharmacy kept running it through under Part B. Medicare told my mom exactly what the pharmacy needed to do, which involved calling the doctor & getting some paperwork faxed. Dave used to literally lift heaven & earth to help his customers get their medicine, but he has changed. When he looked at my mom and flippantly stated, “well I need to get paid,” I knew he had changed. And it’s not just Dave who has changed. The whole place has gone downhill drastically. They don’t even have a bathroom customers can use because apparently someone OD’d in their bathroom once!! Like, really??!! So now elderly, sick, & pregnant customers can’t pee just because an addict OD’d in their bathroom? Why should all the customers be punished for this? It’s absurd. The bathroom should be open to customers only. You cannot punish your entire customer base over one addict! Do u think McDs would close their bathrooms for good if someone OD’d in there? I highly doubt it. That’s actually a minor issue tho. Well it’s minor until u have to use the bathroom that is! But compared to their customer service issues, the bathroom issue is minor. This wretched pharmacy has the absolute WORST customer service I have ever, ever experienced. EVER. Literally every single time I come, something is wrong, to the point where I always get the person’s name who I’m speaking to because I can almost guarantee there’s gonna be some sort of issue when I go to pick up my meds. I call in 3 refills, I get one prescription because they somehow “forget” to fill the other 2. I drop off prescriptions & they literally LOSE them. I really LOVE supporting small businesses so I hate that I now have to switch to Walgreens, but sadly I do. I even left before because of all these issues & actually came back to try them again because I liked Dave so much. Dave, however, is no longer the helpful awesome pharmacist he used to be. This is so disappointing. Thanks for nothing, Northside Pharmacy.

This place has always been there for me. They answer my questions kindly, go above and beyond, and always greet me by name. I love it here.

Very professional and so pleasant. You are not just a number with them. I had a difficult situation where none of the major chains (CVS, Walgreens and Walmart) carried my medicine as they did not carry it. One offer to order it but it might take 30 days. Out of desperation I came across North Side Pharmacy. Not only did they carry medication they also could fill my future refills. They took my insurance and I am a happy customer.

Where to start.1. If you need a PA good luck. Out of respect the pharmacy should call you and inform you. Which all other pharmacy do. How hard is it to pick up the phone and call the patient .2 My doctor faxed over a script for my daughter on the 29 of June and I picked it up a few days later and I was told nothing was faxed. The lady found it after she put in my daughter dob. So it sat there for four days. 3 My brother and father have the same name and can you believe they gave me my fathers med even after I told her his dob. Thank God I look at the bag before I left. Father is 1961 brother 1987... Big mistake there..... am in the process of switching pharmacy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone....
