Would you like to be strong armed into a crappy deal? Then this is the dealership for you! We drove an hour to visit this dealership on Wednesday. My husband really liked the truck. Made an offer that was accepted. Used car manager wrote up an invoice. Husband planned to make a significant down payment (20%), and finance the remainder. Dealership offered a high interest rate. When we questioned this, we were told this was the lowest possible rate that anyone was giving on a used vehicle. This was a one year old truck. Told them we would reach out to our bank to secure financing and be back in touch. Thursday morning husband was approved for the loan at a rate a full 2% lower than the dealership offered. Called the dealership and told them we wanted to move forward. Dealership said they did not work with that bank. Called the bank, they said no problem, we can overnight a check. Dealership delayed the process twice, by first providing an invoice without the name or address of the dealership, and then without the tag and registration fees itemized on the invoice. This caused the loan to get kicked to the bottom of the bank queue twice. Due to these delays and it being a holiday weekend the bank said it would not be able to send the check until Tuesday (after the holiday). Offered dealership the 20% cash down payment to hold vehicle until they would receive the check the following Wednesday. They refused the deposit, and refused to hold the vehicle. Dealership called at close of business on Saturday and said they sold the vehicle. We now have to spend more of our time contacting the bank to cancel the check. Never dealt with a dealership that would not accept a deposit. I recommend taking your business elsewhere, and arranging your own financing!

If I could give -0- stars I would. I was struck in a parking lot in Elkton while on a trip with my 2 dogs. I came out to find my Jeep had been hit, no note of course. When I turned on the car the dash lit up like a Christmas tree showing the swaybar was disconnected and the 4WD needed service among other less concerning warnings. Hetrich Jeep was 2 miles from my location so I very carefully, and slowly drove to the dealership and went into the service entrance. I explained my situation, that I was several hours from home with 2 dogs in the back and further told them which warning lights were on. THEY REFUSED TO EVEN LOOK AT THE JEEP! Totally refused. They said it's collision related so they couldn't help me but referred me to Hetrich Collisian 20+ miles away. This is a Jeep dealership and all I wanted to know is if my Jeep was safe to drive then I could formulate a plan but no, they didn't want to be bothered. This isn't an old Jeep, it's a 2022 so it isn't because it's a clunker. They were the rudest most disinterested people I ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. They obviously could have cared less about the predicament I was in being a couple of hours from home. I didn't expect miracles but I did expect a little courtesy. The fact they were an actual Jeep dealer with an actual garage makes this entire situation unacceptable. I went to Midas about 3 miles up the road who were extremely helpful, inspected the Jeep on the lift, and told me there really wasn't any visable damage but because the person who hit me hit my tire it set off the wheel speed sensor which tripped the warning lights. They did recommend I take it to my regular dealer to have the sensor replaced when I get home but told me to continue on my trip and enjoy myself. What a difference! Oh, and Midas didn't charge me a red cent!

Dealership is now owned by Hertrich , not the same customer service experience that it once was, All the prior service staff and managers were replaced , the mechanics that were there let as well one by one as they didn't like working with the new management and compensation being provided. The woman who is the service manager is an arrogant pushy non customer oriented individual who should not be interacting with customers. She would rather throw blame for any service related issues at Ford , then have the dealership or HERSELF take any responsibility for delays and problems at the Dealership. Do yourself a favor take your business elsewhere

A joke of a company. When used car inquiry was sent though, I was immediately called twice and texted emojis from an employee's personal phone number. Nonetheless, I went to look at the truck. After a test drive, I sat down to talk numbers, where I was then insulted with a trade-in offer and talked down upon. Am I surprised? Not at all. I knew this was going to be the case. Just a forewarning if you're looking to buy a car from this dealership.

This is actually for the company that bought out Elkton Ford. Elkton Ford was great but Hetrich Ford is far from it. I scheduled an appointment to have a 30,000 mile service and oil change. When I called I was told that the earliest I could schedule was 10 days out. I schedule my appointment and drop the vehicle off the evening before so they could start on it first thing in the morning. They told me they would call when it was done. I had to call the next day at 4:30 because I had not heard from them. I was told that they could not find my paperwork and they would check with the mechanic and call me right back. After waiting for their call for 90 minutes, I called them again only to be told that service was closed and that my vehicle was not turned in as completed. This place cannot get an oil change done in over 24 hours. They have a blue oval out front but with service like this that is not going to last for long. I really miss Elkton Ford who cared about their customers and at least would call back when they promised to call. I have bought 5 vehicles at this location over the years but I guess they do not want any future sales with me.

Let me start off by saying the sales guy David was a pleasure to work with but other than that the whole experience was awful. First they advertise the vehicle with much lower miles then it actually had which is probably their bait and switch tactics.. after getting over that I wanted to purchase the car and they didn't have it ready to be put on the road.. in a total of 5 days still not ready.. I was told if I purchase it tonight they would have it ready for me to pick up mid week.. knowing that I lived an hour away and this was my third trip to the dealership it would go to the top of the service list once purchased then the real thing that ruined the deal was the attitude of the woman who claims she was manager speaking to people in the most unprofessional manner! They basically just want you to buy a car and not have to do any work to make a deal.. its ashame that managers always ruin it for the sales people.

One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Worked with me the entire way and never pushed hard. I also asked to do everything online via email or text. (Other dealerships said they would do that to, then proceeded to call after I specifically asked them not to.) Bought a 18 Mustang Roush Jackhammer edition. Amazing car. Dealership had everything ready to go. Dave Jolley was my salesman and he was fantastic. Kudos also to Todd the manager and Linda in Finance were great. I cannot say enough good things about my experience there. Mark

Driving from Jersey to Florida, we had trouble with the fan in our car. We arrived at the dealership and thought we were lucky when they said they could help us. They offered us an "after market" fan for the car and assured us it would work fine. Needless to say it did not and we had to go to another dealership in Florida. They put in a Ford fan and informed us the "after market" fan would never work because it wasn't communicating with the computer in the car. Needless to say we had to pay for another repair. I called Elkton and was told we had to return the fan. We were also told that they would reimburse the fan, labor, and any additional costs. Well 43 days later, many emails, many letters, and telephone calls, we were finally reimbursed for the fan and labor. We never received reimbursement for our extra costs. The customer service was horrible and unprofessional.

I have been here years ago and liked the service, not anymore! I made an appointment early in the morning to have my vehicle looked at. After 6 hours of not hearing anything I call and the receptionist says no one is available to talk so she took my info to have someone call. No one called. After the 7th hour passes I call back, same thing. I finally get a call back 30 minutes before closing only to find out they never even looked at the car. I had to take off work for this. I scheduled an appointment first thing in the morning, so they knew I was coming and they never looked at it? The worst part was the service tech who called me, his name is Bill, didn't care. Not even an apology. Whats the point of making an appointment if there is a possibility they wont look at the car anyway? Needless to say I will not be going back. Update: The General manager of Elkton Ford did call me. He was very pleasant and did offer an apology and said he would look into the matter. He also offered a loaner car while mine was being repaired. I have already made an appointment with another Ford dealer.

I have been going to this dealership for years both for purchasing vehicles and service. Always pleased with their customer first attitude. My wife and I recently purchased a New Ford Escape and our sales representative Elaine Breen was the best. Great sense of humor and very customer oriented making sure that our purchase was a smooth one. Made the experience a great one. Definitely will continue to frequent this dealership and recommend for anyone looking to be treated well. Their new waiting room is also first class while waiting for repairs or service. Number one in our book

Love the Elkton Ford's new digs!!! The waiting room is great!! Free wifi, great coffee and great TV!! Comfy chairs and all. The showroom is also fantastic. Got "the works" package on my Ford Explorer and only had to wait one hour! They even washed my vehicle!!! Thanks!! Service is great and Jeff is a pleasure to deal with!!!

We had a appointment for a routine oil change. We waited over one hour.. The waiting room was so noisy that we could not hear the TV. The water we had to pay for..

My family & I broke down on 95 coming home from Washington DC and Elkton Ford was the closest Ford dealership. We couldn't have gotten luckier. They were efficient, kept us informed, and could not have been kinder. Special thanks for "Jersey" Jeff and Tom for being so helpful and keeping us in the loop the whole time.
