Rhen Keen was an amazing person not only did he get me approved, but I drove off the lot in a brand new car that day. Everybody was extremely helpful, pleasant and most of all they were not pushy or trying to push things on me which I absolutely appreciated I suggest going to Apple auto, you will enjoy the experience and the people five stars for me all across the board. Horrible experience, I’d love to give it a zero but that’s not an option. Called me and talked me up that’s for sure. Guaranteed he could get me in a car (his words, not mine). Gave me an idea of payments and pulled my credit. Still assured me I got this. So I go in and everything he said basically went out the window and did nothing for me but no worries they pulled my credit AGAIN when I was there. So their advertising is a complete joke because my income is for sure there. It isn’t a cool sales pitch to persuade people to believe you are going to help them, pull credit( which is a negative impact on already hurting credit) and then turn them away in 25 minutes. Waste of time. I should’ve listened to the reviews for people with not so great experiences but I guess I had to see it for myself. It doesn’t feel good when people put you through that kind of experience, so save the lies and be upfront from the start.

Apple has the worse service business plan I’ve ever seen. My van has been back 3 times for transmission replacements because they insisted on putting junkyard replacements in it. Any smart garage manager would know that is just kicking the can down the road and not truly fixing or solving the problem. Time for them to put a newly rebuild transmission in my van where the flawed factory problems are fixed in the rebuild. But hey it’s your lifetime warranty money your wasting. They also refuse to give me a rental and not see this very unfriendly customer relations

I wanted to share my first experience with Apple Auto in Elkton, MD. This is a longer review but wanted to give a sense of everything I went through. After a recommendation, I went to get new tires and rims installed on my Jeep Wrangler. I will say they were very responsive throughout the ordering process.My Jeep went through a pre-inspection. It passed but they told me I also needed a new differential system and new air filters. I said sure, let’s just fix it in one shot. Dropped my car off Thursday evening for Friday appointment. Friday evening, they called and told me the mechanic was extremely busy and he didn’t feel like staying late. It was Memorial Day weekend, so they kept my car until Tuesday. I wasn’t prepared to keep my car in the shop that long, but I was friendly and understanding.Tuesday afternoon, they called and told me it was ready for pick up. When I checked out, I noticed they never put in the air filter, and they didn’t have the cabin filter in stock. I waited 30 minutes for them to put in the air filter and they didn’t charge me for it. I went ahead and just put in the cabin filter by myself.Everything seemed fine until I drove home, and my tire pressure sensor light went on. I went back to have them look at it, after I manually checked the pressure on all my tires. The service manager checked on the reader and everything was good. They were unsure what the issue was and said some Jeeps just ‘do this’. I wasn’t happy that my light was still on and making a chime. My back tires were also now squeaking. The service manager said he would do some research and get back to me.I gave it two weeks and heard nothing, so I called them and made another appointment. Dropped my car off for the day and I got a call back saying all my sensors are old. They also couldn’t hear or detect any squeaking noise (due to rain). I was confused as I had paid for new sensors. Long story short – the service manager and the ordering department did not communicate. They never installed the new sensors, despite me paying for them. If it wasn’t for the honesty of the service manager, I would never have known. The problem now was the ordering department billed me for cheaper, off-brand sensors and the manager preferred to use factory sensors. He told me he would credit me for what I paid but I would still owe $500 for factory sensors. The manager also said he wouldn’t bill me for labor for the new installation.I dropped my car off once more for the new sensors and I asked them to also look at the squeaking noise. They installed my sensors, and my light issue was fixed – they greased and WD40’d my car but could not pinpoint why it was squeaking.To my surprise, when I went to check out, they billed me $260 for labor. When I brought up the fact that he told me they wouldn’t charge for labor a second time, he said they never charged me for labor on the installation of the sensors the first time? To me this didn’t make sense since I paid for sensors. I saved myself the energy and headache of arguing and I just paid for it.From a non-biased standpoint, the service staff are friendly, but it was more hassle than it was worth. I am reluctant to recommend Apple Auto now to friends and family. My back tires are still very squeaky, and I need to take them to another auto shop. I was very patient throughout the process, but they could be more upfront and knowledgeable. They also need to improve their communication skills with their staff and customers.

This team truly cares and will set you up for success with your auto financing experience. For years I dreaded financing a vehicle. Rhen met with me for an evening appointment and sat with me to hear my goals, employment, credit, etc. He patiently worked with me to get me in my ideal vehicle as well as gave me multiple options; explaining various financing/insurance/etc implications for each route. He helped me make the most informed decision, even gave my niece a toy AND drink while we waited. He and his financial team stayed almost an hour past closing to finalize our paperwork to spare me another trip the next day. Beyond grateful for the care & consideration Rhen showed me - he is top tier in every way. Highly recommend Rhen and the entire Apple Auto crew.

It was a Hassel less experience, everything thing went great in a timely manner and our check out was flawless. I especially love the new waiting area Apple Mitsubishi has created for people waiting. I would definitely recommend friends and family to purchase from Apple.

**beware** These guys get you with the free oil changes. Then they beat you up bad on service. They are rough on your car. My Wife’s car has 135,000 miles on it. They have ripped the plug threads out of the oil pan, and want $1200 to replace it! ITS THEIR FAULT!! The only way to rip the threads out is to over tighten it. I am an industrial mechanic of 28 years. I work in a tool and die shop. They told me that the threads wearing out were normal wear and tear, given the mileage. NONSENSE!! The service manager stood by his claim. I told him that this is unacceptable. This is fraud. Buyers beware! They absolutely will try to defraud You as well.**Edit: The service department at Hertrich Ford confirmed my claims.**Edit again: they also destroyed her lug nuts, which seems more suspicious now.**UPDATE: The car has been evaluated by a reputable repair shop. The car does not need the oil pan replaced. This was OFFICIALLY NOT NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. In my networking I have discovered other Apple. Auto customers who have had the same exact experience as me, but paid Apple auto for the “repair”. This is fraud. My car is fine, but I am not okay with this business practice in my town, and I will continue to preach my warning about the Apple Auto money grab scheme. And I will submit a second complaint, as such, for the office of Anthony G. Brown to investigate.

Not a bad place to purchase a vehicle. But they definitely are not punctual. You call in to schedule an appointment and they set the appointment. But they never keep to the appointment they set for you. It's misleading and destroys trust in business. I had a 10am appointment for oil change and I arrived 15 minutes early. And almost an hour later before they pull my car in for my oil change. Why set an appointment if the business won't honor it. It's misleading is all I'm saying and doesn't inspire confidence or trust in doing business here.

My salesman and financing guy were up front and honest about everything. They both went above and beyond to help me get out of debt and into a vehicle I could afford without giving up any of the luxury features that were in my prior vehicle. I'm a customer for life! No other dealership even comes close to offering all the benefits, that come included with the purchase of your vehicle. This dealership is the best!!
