Moved from San Diego to Baltimore area. Upack gave us cheaper quotes than PODS or U-Haul, and the shipping time was quicker than the U-Haul pod system. Communication was great and the process of dropping off the pod and having it picked up was easy. We had it delivered to a local pick up site instead of a driveway drop off which lowered the price and it was very easy to schedule a time to unload the pod into a truck.

This company goes above and beyond! I moved from Minneapolis to Washington DC. While other companies were quoting me nearly 3x as much and worse service, U-Pack came thru with a much better quote and unbelievable customization for what I needed. I hired movers in Minneapolis and loaded up the truck. Four days later, u-pack arrived with my stuff ready for my Washington DC movers to unload it.
If I had one complaint (I don’t, but /if/ I did,), it would be that u-pack won’t help you on the other end of the transaction. If you’re moving to a suburb or a place with a loading dock, you’re 100% fine. I was moving into the city and needed to have parking for this semi, which proved very difficult since I didn’t yet live in the city. Even so, U-Pack worked with me to find a visible solution and ended up storing my items on the truck for a few extra days until my parking permits could take effect.
Final comment on this: on what was already a very challenging and stressful move, their dispatchers and drivers were a 6/5 stars. They were so nice and patient. I told one dispatcher the problem with parking and she said “you sound so stressed, sweetie. Don’t worry, we’ll find you a solution. Welcome to DC.” I seriously would have hugged her through the phone if I could have.

I've used U-Pack twice for cross-country moves, most recently from Baltimore to Seattle. My experience has been great! The truck and forklift drivers have been super courteous and professional, and the customer service is great with ABF in general. The ease of scheduling delivery/pickup through their website and the reasonable industry rates are both huge positives.

This is our 2nd move with UPack. We had no issues in GA or FL for pick up or drop off. Where we did have the issues is in Maryland. The driver got the cab and trailer stuck in our paved driveway after trying to go up the hill, after being asked if he could make it. The cab and trailer were stuck for over 10.5 hours. It took 2 tow trucks working over 8 hours to get him out. Our yard is destroyed. It took another week to pick up the empty trailer. It’s been 2 weeks and I’m just being told “someone will call you” in regards to our destruction. Trucks were ran over, bushes, I have multiple 50+ long ruts that are 2-4 ft deep. My driveway is cracked in multiple places. The driver never apologized just said “here’s your weight tickets.” I just want my yard fixed. We have so many items that we’re broke in the move from the slamming down from the crane and trying to get the truck and trailer out. It was emotional. Definitely not something we expected. We just want this made right.

I was overwhelmed with the options when it came to my cross-country move, but I went with U-Pack as the quote was the most reasonable and the reviews were stellar. From the start, everyone I spoke to from the company was incredibly professional and kind. Everything went as planned, and my cube arrived at the facility faster than the estimated time. I would recommend putting an air pod in the cube, as being able to track its progress gave me a lot of peace of mind! Can't recommend U-Pack enough.

This is my second time using U-Pack to the Baltimore area and once again, it was flawless. My cubes got here on the first day of the delivery window and they were able to drop off less than 24 hours after contacting me. The driver was exceptionally skilled. He was struggling with one of the cubes because it was so heavy and my driveway is tight, but he was a pro. Again, they picked up less than 24 hours after I contacted them for removal. Nothing in either cube was damaged. Would happily use them again.

I used a U-Pack Relocube to move a 1 bedroom apartment in Fort Lauderdale to Sparks, MD. The associate on the phone helped me figure out what size I would need and it was a perfect fit. It took 6 days for the transit which was perfectly fine because we didn't have a time constraint. The cost was 60% less than the moving quotes I received. Highly recommend.

I want to thank the Elkridge office of U-PACK for getting me a trailer to my house to move my sister-in-law quickly to Jackson, TN. It was a sudden move with no time to plan. My first experience with U-PACK was great. The trailer came and the driver was so nice explaining everything to me regarding the ladder and the boards between the boxes when I was done loading. I called to have the trailer picked up on Monday and a driver came that morning. I thought the price was fine for such a long distance move. Thanks to all the people at U-PACK that helped make this move successful. I also wanted to add some info on the Jackson, TN U-PACK location:I want to thank the person at the Jackson, TN office for coordinating the pickup of the trailer from my sister-in-law, I believe last Thursday March 21. The gentleman I talked to was so nice and professional, that I just wanted to say something nice about him. I also want to thank very much too, the driver who came out that morning who helped the two women open up the back of the trailer, helped with the ladder and take down the boards next to the boxes. I was told he was excellent in every way also. This was my first time using U-PAK and this shipment came all the way from Pikesville, Maryland. It was a sudden move without time to plan. I want everyone to know that U-PAK came thru with flying colors and if I could would give 10 Gold stars.

Soooper smooth move with U-Pack. I couldn't find a lower price for a long haul move, and customer service was helpful, kind, professional, and efficient. The trailer was picked up the morning after I called to say it was ready to go. Follow the packing instructions video and use those straps - you will be happy too!

Upack's customer service team is phenomenal, answering my myriad of questions. Their dispatchers are generous. Their drivers are patient. Their prices are fair and honest. Their web interface for tracking your order is user friendly. I am amazed.We used Upack for a cross country move. The property manager for the apartment we were moving to was a week delayed in getting us the keys, and U-Pack allowed us to delay delivery by a week at no additional cost. We are so thankful.While the Elkridge, MD service center doesn't deliver on Mondays, they were willing to deliver with less than one day's notice! Great service!
