Royal Farms is an ideal rest stop it has pretty much everything you need. The fried chicken is ok and the potato wedges are pretty good too.

First time buying gas from here, not a good experience.I know nothing about their food but their gas is horrible!I got 8 gallons of gas into a regular V6 at $3.59 and 4 gallons vanished of the 8 gallons from the gas station to Green valley marketplace at Washington Blvd and Meadowridge Drive in 8 minutes, no traffic!!! No highway drive, just a 5 mile drive in a healthy car! And before you ask, No I don't have a leaking tank and there's nothing wrong with my car! It's either their gas is extremely poor quality or the pump dispensed air. I usually buy from either Shell or Exxon but my gas was really low and the next Shell was about 2 miles from there so I thought to get a bit here since it was late.

Today I visited this location to have a break from driving between NJ and the Carolinas. As a first time visitor I'd rate this brand with a 3.5 because it's clean and well-stocked, but it fails to deliver a wide array of food that is made-to-order. On the plus side , they offer breakfast sandwiches all day, unlike Wawa and QuickChek. AND, I was pleased to see that their super modernized coffee machines include a Jamaica blue mountain roast, one of my favorite go to coffee blends. However, their competitors outpace them on all other made-to-order products. Their options are limited to chicken sandwiches/wraps and carby options like Mac'n'cheese and rice. In fact, the only veg option I found was cole slaw. No salads, no deli meats, no smoothies.

The gas prices are about the lowest around, almost on par with Wawa. They have between twelve and twenty pumps. They do have diesel and electric charging stations. Royal Farms is a large, spacious, clean and bright store with a great selection of just about everything (that you may be looking for in a convenience store). The staff is typically very friendly. The made to order food leaves a lot to be desired. The chicken is the worse around, to me. That Ravens kicker should be ashamed of himself for advertising this mess. This is the kind of thing that could ruin his legacy. It is dry, tough and flavorless. There are very few stores around the country that use this type of business model and it works well. Around here Royal Farms is becoming ubiquitous. They are open around the clock and I believe are American owned. It's good store but please Royal Farms, up your prepared food game.

the chicken is always dried out, burnt and not good. The Royal Farms in Glenburnie on Telegraph has the best fried chicken that is always fresh, and no one is lying to the customers about how long the chicken has been sitting under the heating lamp.
