Leslie Vanegas scheduled an interview for 11am and didn't show. Hours later she surfaced, apologized, and we rescheduled for 4pm. She didn't show again. What an experience.

Went for interviews, was treated well by HR, invited to the store intoduced as New manager, then for 2nd interview told by 2 others they were just going thru protocol for interviews, treated with disdain after they picked my brain for ways to make the store successful. I was shocked at the unprofessional way they were late, sat bored at the table, and dismissed me at hello. Unfriendly, corrected me like a bully when I said 10 years, and they said it's actually 9. I don't know why I sat through the interview, other than I was confused from the first meeting to the second. I see by other reviews I was not alone in the hiring process. This was in 2018 I believe, but I'm SURE if the interview bully sees it she will correct me if I'm wrong.

A Planet Aid bin was illegally placed on our Community Center Property's Parking lot (with no contract or written authorization). They were notified to remove their bin 6 times over a period of 10 weeks and each time, an office contact answering the phone said they would immediately remove the bin, but they did not. Constant calling with no removal, led to our having to make a 60 mile round trip to their Elkridge Headquarters office to demand Planet Aid remove their bin from our property. We were told from the office contact, who had been taking our calls for removal, that the manager was notified each time, but obviously kept ignoring our continued removal requests. Planet Aid finally removed the bin after they were told our Community Center Board of Directors would have the bin removed by an authorized metal scrapper. I understand this outrageous practice of placing collection bins on properties without contractual permission is becoming more frequent.

They do not fairly recruit. I applied for a position and was qualified with everything they listed and they rejected it. Not fair recruiting practice. The rejection email was also poorly written. Clearly, whoever is in HR is a rookie.

If you want to come to my aid, Planet properly because I might not be home when you show up (i.e. I'm avoiding you). I found out that when you donate your stuff to this charity it doesn't actually go to poor people. Nope. It gets sold for massive profits in a billion dollar industry and ends up being sold on the streets of these third-world countries. Didn't you watch the Bourdain show about it? The Kenya episode of Parts Unknown. Planet Aid is one of the big culprits in this. That's why they're not responsive to their donators. You're better off taking the clothes to a local charity shop. That way nobody's lining their pockets because of you, and you're actually helping someone, maybe.

They're avoiding calls. I've been trying to call and speak to a manager but they're just avoiding calls period. Not sure if I can trust this company with donations.

Went in for a interview today and the HR recruiter was very rude, she came in the room chewing on candy didn't look at my resume and just tells me I don't have experience. Who needs experience to unload a truck of bags and the TWO trucks wasn't even big. I have worked at Amazon and unload trucks bigger than those trucks they have with big boxes on there. She pissed me off so bad I just left. If I didn't have experience why would I call me in for a interview.
