The therapists are the shinning stars of this particular location and deserve a five star rating. My grievance is with the way their business is conducted. Please feel free to correct me if other Pivot locations do not exhibit the same policies?I was first asked to make co-pays before my sessions began which was a little off-putting but I went along with the formality to start treatment. I attended 27 sessions and began making progress with my range of motion and had 13 more sessions before my benefits needed to be extended. Well, I was informed before my 40 sessions were up that my therapy would be interrupted until my insurance provider extended my benefits.I contacted my insurance provider and a representative explained that I should still be receiving therapy as there were 13 more sessions. I then contacted the receptionist at Pivot and explained to her what my insurance provider told me. The receptionist made it clear that she was attempting to send information to my insurance provider in order to receive approval for more sessions.I attempted on several occasions to inquire about why my therapy was interrupted when I clearly have 13 more sessions to use before the approval comes back from my insurance provider. I was cut off by the receptionist each time with the same explanation, "I am trying to get approval from your insurance provider."The receptionist did not take the time to utilize active listening nor provide me with the answer I desperately needed. I am now in the process of finding another physical therapy provider which will likely set my recovery time back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!

Receptionist on the physical therapy side could be more courteous. I asked someone else if it has been a rough day and they apologized, I watched her behavior and interactions with others but it seems to be her overall demeanor.

Pivot is a wonderful place to have physical therapy sessions done. After having a knee replacement surgery, Martin, the Physical Thearpistat the Elkridge location was happy to help me regain my normal range of motion back in my knee.Their Office location’s are everywhere which is very convenient. Just google a Pivot near you.

They are very efficient and kind. Therapists are very knowledgeable and helpful, flexible and involve patients in their treatment decisions.

Turned away by the doctor when I was in the office before 4:15. They had no one at the front desk and the doctor refused to do the bloodwork for the CDL. That is poor business practices especially when you are still open.

Bottom line - they saved me from a second surgery! Great to work with. Good balance of 'pushing' and no-stress. Also very flexible with scheduling. I fully appreciate the work they did with me. Highly recommended!

Attentiveness is spot on, they put the clients first; they listen to what ails you. Warm and friendly staff. They put my mind at ease; I feel safe.

We have had nothing but great experiences with this office. They all, including the therapist, made us feel comfortable and confident that we were in the right place.

The team at Pivot has been outstanding! I went in with a lower back injury and Martin especially has done a fantastic job helping me heal. He has done dry needling, which has been extremely effective, as well as given me an exercise routine. I highly recommend going to Pivot. The front desk team does a great job with scheduling and taking payments, and the PT team does a great job helping you get better. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Arielle and the team at Pivot - Elkridge are phenomenal. My most recent ailment (urine incontinence and urgency) has been an issue for 26 years. I mentioned to Arielle I was having trouble finding a PT to help me in the area. She did the research, took a class and within two months I no longer have issues. I am now able to run , jump, laugh and sneeze with no issues, with the true test was a 3 hour zip-line obstacle course!! Thank you Arielle!

I've been here 3 times recently working with Martin my PT. The first day I came I had immediate relief from a back injury. Dry needling and stretching is helping a lot. Thank you Martin for helping me and being knowledgeable of what to do as well as answering all my questions. Will be returning for the rest of my PT sessions and if I have another injury again (hopefully not).

These guys are great. Martin just did dry needling on me for the second time, and my range of movement in my neck is so much greater.
