Stopped for diesel today and the large sign on the road said 5.23. The pump said 5.49. I asked the attendant why the discrepancy and he walked outside to check the sign. He said the price was $5.29. But the sign actually says $5.23. I have photographs to prove it but yet this gentleman does not appear to see well. The sign clearly showed $5.23. But he refused to give me this price, became irritated and said he was out of diesel. "I'm too tired for this".Seems to me that the place is run by a bunch of crooks and even worse an employee who doesn't know anything or give a darn about customer service.

Two words: price gouging. Drove by and saw this and laughed. You have to be utterly stupid to get gas here or you like throwing money away, then in that case, can I have some.

I tried to get my car washed yesterday at several gas stations in Columbia and the ones I went to were all down. I think the same person must have went to all of them and broken them. So I tried this one today. This one is touchless so no cloth contact with your car. In my past experience, touchless car washes are not effective. When I went to pay with my credit card it said, "Invalid Card Orientation: Please check your card orientation and swipe." Perhaps maybe it wasn't the orientation but because I was using a card with a chip in it. Maybe this was the universe's way of telling me not to get my car washed here since it's touchless. I asked the lady behind me for help but we got the same error message. She suggested I get help but then I would be holding up the line or would have to get back out of line so I said forget it. They do accept cash so lesson learned to bring cash as back up. Now onto my quest to find another car wash that's opened and functioning. Wishing all of you better luck than I had.

Large, clean with fast pumps... but expensive. When I check the price right now, Columbia prices seem to be 5 cents cheaper. Columbia, which is 30 cents more expensive than Baltimore! It sort of makes sense, this is a lone gas station without much competition... and frankly, if you're out here getting gas, you either really need gas or live in the area - either way, you probably don't care about the 5 cents. But if you do - open up Gas Buddy and see if there is something cheaper on your route. For me - I was really low, saw it was expensive... but I was heading to Columbia, it couldn't be any more expensive than HoCo prices? Right? Wrong, the one up the street from my home was cheaper.
