It’s not fancy but it’s clean and has good equipment. Everyone is very respectful and the atmosphere is really chill.
FYI there are no showers though. And a water bottle station would be nice.

My only complaint for this gym is the personal trainer shown in the pictures not sure what his problem is but hes very disrespectful blurting out negative comments about my brother to his client while we were right next to them so i confronted him about it and he said “i can say what i want” and ive had friends tell me he was doing the same to them talking disrespectful about them to his client that hes helping. Terrible guy, terrible personal trainer, honestly think he does it out of jealousy when he sees minors lifting more then him not really sure why else

Great place to work out. Some of the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and professional. Others barely greet you at the door - they are obviously busy playing on their phones. To me, that sets a very impersonal vibe that bugs me. It would be nice if the gym utilized the space better so that you could find a place to stretch or do mat work. Otherwise, the place is convenient, cozy, and a great place to get your exercise on.

It seems like a good place to me. I have been going there for a few months with my son. We have 2 menbrecias. Something that seemed very strange today was that when we entered a men's training session he started saying things to a member of the gym that there were people who had a menbrecia carrying more than one person. This happened to me today. The curious thing was that when he was talking about that topic, he had his eyes on me and my son. Until he went to the computer and called 2 girls showing them the computer and the 3 of them turned around to see my son how curious we go every day. and when we entered, none of her told us that there was something wrong with our menbrecias. I imagined from all her expressions that this is how she was referring to us. The truth is, I was very upset by this action on his part. I felt discriminated against, even though I knew that he paid for both menbrecias. For me, the ideal thing if he had that concern would be to call me and make sure and stop making decriminatory statements that speaks very badly of the person. The place seems nice to me, but because of those details I don't give it 5 stars. If this happens again, I won't hesitate for a second. In canceling the menbrecias, the attitude of this person is mentable.

I have been extremely disappointed with the service at Fitness 19in Elkridge, MD The recumbent bikes have been out of order for over a year, severely limiting the available equipment for members. When I attempted to voice my concerns to the staff, I was met with unprofessionalism and disrespect. Two staff members, who appeared to be immature, not only dismissed my complaints but also went as far as to call the police without attempting to address the issue.To make matters worse, during the confrontation, one of the staff members made racially insensitive remarks, referring to me as a 'scary black man.' This behavior is completely unacceptable and has left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome at this facility.It's disheartening to experience such treatment in a place that is supposed to promote health and well-being. I expected better from a fitness center that claims to prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of its members. As a result of this negative encounter, I cannot recommend Fitness 19 to others and will be seeking a more inclusive and respectful fitness environment elsewhere."

Please turn the fans back one even though it’s winter I’m dying from sweat. Still best gym, not crowded, super cheap, open 24/7, clean and good equipment. :)

Just walked in to inquire about a membership but in addition to the screwy membership plan ($9.99/mo + $49/yr) the big red flag was the present staff seemed completely indifferent to new members joining and made absolutely no attempt to sell the gym or membership benefits- no pamphlet, no tour, no effort at all. The girl just flipped the computer monitor so I could read the membership plan.

Bad consumer service. And machines are always broken.It's cheap but there's many better options around now to pick from .
