10/10 would recommend. We did a video walkthrough and were quoted 10 hours, 4 people, 2 trucks. They were spot on. I tried to have the place packed as much as possible but a family emergency prevented me from having the garage packed up. Didn’t matter. They came in, took a look around and got to work. The guys they sent were the most professional, kind, caring, movers I’ve ever had. I don’t know if our previous movers were THAT BAD or Moyer was just THAT GOOD.
They weren’t the cheapest quote but they were worth every single penny. They didn’t nickel and dime us at the end. The quote was spot on. They gave us free boxes including wardrobe boxes! They even unpacked the wardrobes!
I can’t say enough good things about Moyer. If you’re on the fence, just do it.

These were the best movers I ever used. These guys were absolute professionals. They were courteous and very helpful. They were very respectful of my stuff and you could tell they knew what they were doing based on how they wrapped my furniture to prevent it from getting damaged. Will use them again.

From start to finish this was a pleasure, not something easily said about moving. Risa spent many hours with me beforehand to work out a move in plan, helping me to understand that I probably needed to get rid of more stuff than I already had before I left my home.
Once we were at my new home the van arrived precisely on time as promised and things were unloaded quickly, safely and efficiently. Every single moving professional was helpful and took excellent care of my things. After the move in, I had some pieces I wanted to move to a different place and all of that was accomplished in an expeditious manner. I have not a single complaint about any aspect of this move and I would highly recommend Moyer & Sons Moving & Storage.

Our house move was substantial, living in our original house for 30 years with family of 5. We got 3 estimates, all were in line but Moyer had a very big company feel to it versus the other two. Their estimate / interaction process was very professional with great office support, organized papers to sign, etc.The movers were great, handling everything with great care and worked very quickly. However, the estimate of the amount of time was not quite accurate and what was supposed to take ~8-10 hours took 14+ hours and probably should have been a two day versus one day move. Since the final move price is dictated by actual hours, we were naturally concerned and this was noted by the movers at the end of the day.The very next morning, we received a call from the owner, Jason Moyer himself. He apologized about the estimate error and told us he would make it right. He essentially dropped the price back down to the original estimate. What a class act of a business model to stand behind their quote.Then after the move we had to deal with some normal move damages and the mover insurance that we purchased. We dealt with Irvin Quinteros and he was super professional. Irvin was so thorough and took painstaking steps to research solutions and most importantly, he resolved all of our problems very quickly. He's also just a heck of nice person.Hope this review is helpful, picking a moving company is complicated and stressful.

Excellent service. We have moved 6 times in 15 years, and this company stands out from others. It provides the best assistance, the most customer-friendly approach, and a delivery crew who actually made the experience enjoyable. I would recommend them any time.

So smooth - easy to contact and update with all our questions and concerns - the three gentleman took care of a three level town home to and from our 2 bedroom condo in about six hours - wrapped many items to secure them with plastic and even disassembled and reassembled an IKEA bed - free boxes I picked up from a convenient location and many were removed the day of the move - so pleased with this company and the 3 gentleman who did all the heavy lifting and all on a Friday - thank you, thank you, thank you Moyer and Son’s - recommend!

Our family had a great experience with Moyers for our cross-country move. Gordon was attentive and responsive throughout the process and his colleagues kept us updated and made an effort to accommodate our requests. Packing, loading and unloading crews were very professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

Moyer and Sons was an amazing moving company, the best I've had the pleasure of working with thus far after many moves. They were efficient, respectful, and proactive. Literally every piece of furniture and stuff from our 4500 sqft home was moved perfectly with zero damage to anything. There was similarly not a scratch left on our old house or new. Can't recommend them enough!

I only have good things to say about this company. Pleasant to work with, nice guys, careful packers and except for a couple of missing screws every thing arrived in good shape. Honest and timely, I would definitely use them again.

I found Moyer and Sons to be professional, wasy to work with and flexible. They worked with me to empty my storage unit the day before our scheduled move date. The crew was experienced. They moved fast, were careful with my items and professional. Can't say enough good things.

Their sales manager Brenda Holt kept enthusiastically recommend “contractor” or “handyman” who she “completely trust” others should call. Those contractors turn out to be scammer (took money and disappeared). For example, William Maldonado. He does NOT have license to work as a contractor in Maryland or insurance. He took my money and walked away the project half way after turning into a two week project into two years. When I told Brenda, her word was “it’s not that long”. William bragged to me that he got enough work just from Brenda’s recommendation. Even if Brenda is not legally responsible she is morally reprehensible for taking advantage of seniors’ trusting nature. Today, I posted this review, she called me to say it’s uncalled for just because I have issue with William. I do not have issue with William. William has issue. He doesn’t license and he is a conman. If Brenda feels compulsively recommending him to the neighbor email listserv every couple of days for a couple of years, why cannot I speak truth to warn others. At least two other neighbors were also conned by William. Also Brenda used her title, she said referred William to all her clients. So yes she used your company as a way to promote William.

Gordon & his team made this moving process so stress free! I have literally never enjoyed moving, like who does? But Moyer really has the most exceptional customer service - these people have perfected the art of helping someone move! I can't thank them enough & will always recommend them to my family & friends!!!
