I can't recommend Dependable Auto and Steve highly enough! Steve has been absolutely fantastic in taking care of both of my cars. He always keeps an eye out for potential issues but focuses on what truly needs attention, ensuring that my vehicles are always up-to-date on maintenance without pushing for unnecessary repairs. It's clear that he prioritizes both the car and the customer, providing honest and reliable service every time.
I trust Steve so completely that I drive my cars from Baltimore to Elkridge just to get work done, even though there's a shop right down my block. At this point, I simply can't bring myself to take a chance on anyone else. Thanks Steve!

We first used Dependable Auto Service in 2015 for a long-standing problem on a older Jeep Wrangler that a dealer could not find/fix. Dependable quickly identified the problem and fixed it at a very reasonable cost. Since then, we have taken all but warranty repairs for four different vehicles to them. Our most recent service by them was May 2024. Why do we always use Dependable? Becuase they are extremely professional in all aspects of work completed for us. Because they are extremely clear in all their interactions, from scheduling, to diagnostic reports, to repairs completed. Becuase their scheduling is timely and convenient. Because their prices are very reasonable. Because they are a pleasure to interact with. Most importantly, we will continue to use them because of their professional competence for all our automotive needs, whether routine service, required inpsections, or unplanned needed repairs.

Came here based off of the reviews, they lived up to their reputation. Excellent quality work done quickly, very clear when describing issues, very happy with the work I received for the bill amount. Their schedule gets booked out in advance, which I think speaks to the quality of work they do to get that many people coming back and willing to wait. Called to make an appointment for an MD inspection (moved from CA). He was able to fit me in for the next week. Steve was very nice on the phone and in person. Fair pricing on the service. I'm glad I chose this shop as the reviews seemed very on the nose! I didn't feel pressured or weirded out, a lot of shops have me feel that way. Will definitely come back for regular maintenance services.
