I've heard a lot about this place from my friends. I'm fairly new to this area and wanted to give this place a try before entrusting all of my vehicles to them. This is just my initial impression and I'll keep updating my comment with each service. I took my Chrysler 300 for oil/filter change, tire rotation which I had mentioned through their online appointment comments section.
They definitely did what I had asked for and made sure the vehicle was returned to me without any visible marks or scratches. They constantly communicated through text prior to my appointment and kept reminding me about it which was great.
On the day of, when I went in for the appointment, based on my past great experiences with other workshops, I had expected them to explain clearly what would be done when I dropped my car with them. The responses came in quite short and I had to literally ask them what they would do. It isn't a big deal, as I'm not there to exchange pleasantries. But, as a customer it would help me feel comfortable with entrusting my vehicle to them. That would be my suggestion moving forward. They were very courteous when I went to pick up the car. Again, I had to ask them what they did even though it may be unnecessary for them to explain. Maybe that's just me trying to be obsessed with clear communication or my involuntary expectation based on their prompt text communication prior to the appointment. One other suggestion would be the speed of service. I've never had to wait almost a whole day just for oil/filter change with tire rotation. I dropped my vehicle around 8am and only heard back around 4pm. Needless to say, these are minor nitpicky concerns.
POSITIVES: They did a thorough inspection of the car and suggested additional items that may need attention soon. I was even sent a link with a picture and description by the mechanic who serviced the vehicle. MUCH APPRECIATED.
Overall, it was a good experience and I feel I could trust my vehicles with Town and Country Auto Repair in Eldersburg. Thank you!

I am so happy to find an auto maintenance shop that is highly qualified, very professional and most importantly, honest.
Town and Country provides photos of the work being performed and strives to offer excellent service. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend them as a trusted, reliable auto mechanic.

EDIT: I am a customer. I came in with my girlfriend's car. I was the only person you dealt with. The appointment was in her name because it is her car, but I was the customer. Accept your negative review, don't try to work the system.
I came to this place last year for my AC not working on my 10 year old Buick. I was initially impressed by the communication and photos provided by them, and the expertise for what I was told was a tough part to replace. The cost was a pretty big hit of over $2k, but well worth it, for the piece of mind.
However, within a week, the AC stopped blowing cold air, but because it was under a 2 year warranty and it was almost fall, I decided to wait until this year to have it repaired. Naturally, I decided to bring it back here.
Imagine my shock when I was quoted over $1400 for something that should have been covered under warranty, and was repaired by them previously. I immediately took the car to another shop fir a second opinion, and they were able to fix the issue for around $200.
I am writing this review about 2 months after this last repair, and the AC is still blowing cold. I am horrified at this, and feel cheated out of the cash spent on the initial repair I received from this place.

My dad and I have used Town & Country for years and love them! We have used the Glenwood and Eldersburg branches. Staff is friendly and helpful. They explain issues in layman's terms, so even I can understand and don't feel like I'm being tricked. Fair prices and they always go above and beyond to fix your issues.

Just had some serious suspension work performed at Eldersburg Town and Country Repair for first time and could not be more pleased with entire experience. My Benz suv first test driven by mechanic Judd who clearly on a mission to understand all issues and whom was clearly competent and truthful. At front desk I met Bill and Griff who did everything possible to make my visit pain free and offered a price dramatically less than what I would pay at Euro Motor Cars. My vehicle repaired quickly and my soft but firm ride restored. Anyone contemplating a change in mechanics, more fair pricing and having vehicle fixed right the first time, must make an appointment with Bill or Griff at Town & Country. My only regret is not having called earlier!

Recently took my car to Town and Country for the first time. For many years I went to the dealer exclusively and paid a premium. Dealer prices have continued to increase, and the quality of their work has decreased. I switched to a local shop who does a great job at reasonable prices but now there is a 3 1/2 week wait for an oil change. Family members recommended Town and Country in Eldersburg and I am very glad they did. Service quality was excellent. Prices are reasonable and scheduling is fast. I did not expect it, but I received a thorough diagnostic report detailing areas in need of attention. Extremely thorough. Bil was very pleasant as he bragged about the capabilities of his technical team. I highly recommend trying Town and Country Auto Repair for service.

I bring my car here anytime I have an issue. They were quick to get me an appointment and had the repairs done the next day, which was a blessing because it was the air-conditioning and it is the middle of summer! While the work was a little more than I was expecting, I know that it was done right and they stand behind what they do. I trust that they performed the work that was needed and I will be back if another issue arises with something else. (fingers crossed, not for awhile, LOL) The staff are all easy to work with and they take time to explain everything they are doing, thanks all!

I would give this team 10 Stars if I could. Especially Bill Dooley whom I talk to the most. 1 week ago we were in for a normal repair. A week later a unexpected engine issue come up that made it undrivable. Even with the shop being super busy and some Techs on vacation, Bill took our car and 2 days later had it diagnosed. Another day and a half and it was fixed.
What an amazing job getting the car back on the road. In fact this team has handled some very difficult repairs to several cars I have taken to them. Even my MIL's !!
Great work. And thank you.

We are from out of town and Adam was a huge help to us. Showed great expertise in diagnosing a problem that our tire dealer at home didn’t diagnose. Very professional and kind. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Reasonable rate, far less than dealership and service was done promptly as promised. Service agent was polite and informative. No surprises!
