I ship everything there and recently I went in to ship a package that was going to cost $75 and they helped me condense the package and got the shipping cost down to $22 saving me over $50!Every other post office I’ve been to the employees seem annoyed and you end up standing in line for 30 mins. but not here! Highly recommend”
“This post office has one of the most friendly staff that I've seen in years. They helped me after an extraordinary horrible experience at the Golden Ring Road location.
The staff was friendly, polite, courteous, but most importantly RESPECTFUL to me and others.
I did bring up one thing and that was the parking lot. The lot needs to be redone as the yellow line which was faded is supposed to accentuate stepping up. I didn't see it and it caused me to fall. A customer coming out asked if he could help me up which I declined. I brought that to their attention while inside.”

“As a regular customer who visits the Abingdon Post Office several times a week, I felt compelled to write this review about an outstanding experience I had today.
I had made an accidental error on a package label (mistyping a character) and urgently needed assistance to correct it before processing. I called immediately and was connected with Supervisor Ms. Olivia.
From the moment she answered, I was impressed by her excellent customer service. Ms. Olivia was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. She quickly and calmly transitioned into problem-solving mode, asking for the specific details of the package, including the approximate drop-off time (11:00 AM).
She went above and beyond by promptly locating the package, confirming it was the correct item, and making the requested change. Ms. Olivia demonstrated a perfect blend of efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care. This is exactly how customers should be treated: with a great listening ear and a clear understanding of what it takes to resolve an issue quickly.
On a separate but equally positive note, I also want to give kudos to Patricia the clerk, who was amazing and friendly during my initial transaction with another clerk. ?”
“My abingdon post office made a mistake and forwarded a package I was returning to some random persons address in bel air. So I called the bel air post office to find out what happened and Deborah who works there helped me figure out what exactly happened and was trying to work out a solution and keep me updated. Thankfully the person it was delivered to dropped it off to my address personally since it was on the original label. However in this time Deborah was still checking in with me giving me status updates and working with her Bel Air carriers to try to fix the mistake. The bel air branch and Deborah was very professional and understanding (the package had a lot of value). After trying to work with the abingdon post office I was blown away with how terrible that experience was and bel air was the complete opposite. I hope someone high up at the usps reads this because Deb really went above and beyond and was looking out for me in the crazy situation and I truly appreciate that.”
“I wanted to extend a highly positive review to this office & the kind employee, Pricilla, who works there. She went above & beyond to help me locate, retrieve & deliver a package to an address yesterday.I understand how understaffed & overwhelmed the post office is normally & 10x more during the holiday mail flow - I live many states away & contacted this post office yesterday due to a mishap in transit. After providing the address and tracking, this very kind lady, Pricilla [and whomever the nice mail carrier/s were that day] were able to hunt down the mystery mail for me & later contact me to let me know the issue was resolved. ..In a time where customer service is lackluster, people are quick to be rude & most help is an automated computer system, its important to give credit where its due to good people that are doing a wonderful job. “I ship multiple items a month at this post office and have never had a problem with the service. My guess is that most of the bad reviews come from the actual local delivery.
The staff inside here though are always alright, the clerk (Lamar is his name, I think) is always friendly.”
