Racial profiling. I'm a gay black male that's not even from Maryland. I keep my eyebrows groomed and maintained. The first time I went to them, they acted "Scared". Sign posted says eyebrows are $8. After I went in the back she then told me it was an extra $2 for "males". Never heard that in my life, an eyebrow is an eyebrow. I told her fine, as I'm used to paying $10 anyway. She did the service. Ran my card and took 12.50 off of it. I left it alone. Didn't want to argue. Tonight I went back in, I have on sweat pants and a zip up hoodie jacket. I asked for their eyebrow service, she looked at me crazy and spoke her native tongue to a male, who then stated they don't do eyebrows?? They profiled me, and that is the worst feeling in the world. Very sad

Everytime I come here it's something different , today I leave in tears because the daughter picks and chooses who she is going to be nice to , I've been comin on and off for years as it's a local spot . I've delt with nails that have lifted before my fill is ready (2 weeks normally ) , over-filed nails causing pain in my cuticles, big bubbles of acrylic. And just plain cut and bleeding nails . I've always said accidents happen but I can't anymore . Ive had no problem waiting hours because they didn't let me book an appointment as that's only allowed for the daughters preferred clients . I thought over time it would change . I also came between appointments for a broke nail and because she decided to add clear coat to all my nails I was charged differently then the price for a broke nail in the past . I thought if I delt with the sore cuticle nd didn't say ouch to my cut finger maybe .. it would change , but NOTHING has changed and Ive gave it MONTHS . I figured eventually she would be nice . That's not the case and I'd rather have no nails or find one of the other 40 local shops then deal with the negative energy and it's a shame as the aunt is nice as can be . But it's not worth it .. not to me anyway .

Great place to get your nails done. Was recommended by a friend because her nails were fabulous. They consider what you want for your nails and make it happen. Best thing is, EVERYONE knows what their doing. My new nail spot. Hope to see you there!

Came in today, got a full set. Took an hour and a half. I added glitter and the total was $70. Insane price for the poor quality nails that I received. I will not return. Much better places in abingdon.

Today was my first time there. It’s a Sunday and I was happy they were open. I had to wait for about 40 mins but as a walk in that’s fine. The mom did my nails and I am so extremely happy! The thinned down the acrylic overlay from previous place and did amazing with the fill in. I’m very picky but I will def come back

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, I don’t like putting negative energy out there… I’d rather leave GOOD reviews. I say this bc I am here doing it, because honestly if I have them verbal feedback- I don’t think they’d care.
This place came highly recommended by a friend and while they do a good job on the nails themselves, everything else needs improvement.
I made an appointment for my sister and I (who was in town visiting) and I sat there for an hour beside her while she got a pedicure by one nail tech and then the same tech gave me a pedi too. Over 2 hours later, we are both complete. There was also dead skin floating in my water (before my feet touched it).
I am sad I didn’t get the experience of getting a pedicure with my sister and the customer service was very poor, unfortunately.
I will not be going back here and don’t recommend it.

This was my first visit to Mona's. I found their Instagram page and fell in love with their nail designs. Everyone was kind, nail tech was fast, efficient, friendly. I showed her a design and she did wonderfully with my fill-in and design. I was 3-4 weeks past due smh she HOOKED ME UP!!! Definitely coming back to do a pedicure and bring my mom too.

The owner Ms.Mona,her husband and Ms.Sue the person who usually does my nails are all exceptional and always nice.They care about the work and their customers.I have seen customers who get very rude and mean to them but they still manage to exude care and kindness. I have been going to this salon for 4years and found them after trialing other places in the area. I am always happy to come back when they are busy but I won't go anywhere else.Thank you, Ms. Sue and Ms.Mona for always being accommodating. Always great service.

Terrible customer service, waits late to set up wax machine, doesn’t tell you true time to begin your nails, acts like people don’t exist. I pray the Lord gives you all a better attitude or lives will crumble, only one that is kind and honest is aunty
