I’ve learned to not use their deli, as the employees do not care how they pack your cheese/lunch meat. The produce is usually in bad shape, and I was honestly shocked they were selling this corn. ?

Normally I have great experiences shopping here with helpful staff, a clean store and well stocked items. Today, not so much. This review is for my experience of today only. A few items were clearly marked on sale. At the self checkout, the sale price did not take. The checkout assistant was of no help, did not go check the prices on the shelf, insisted the items were not on sale, grabbed our bags of items and took them to the customer service counter. We went back to the deli. The deli counter help gladly reduced the item to the sale price, but said that was last week's sale. Why then, was the sale price still in the deli window? It was not early and they had plenty of time to remove the sale sticker. I removed the stickers off the shelf of canned items on sale and took them to customer service. The girl behind the counter curtly said I did not need to remove the stickers, as someone would have checked the prices. I told her the assistant did not do that so we did. Once she corrected all the prices, I asked her why the same price did not come up when we did self checkout. She bluntly said it was last week's sale price...but the sale stickers were still on the shelves...and she admonished me for removing them? She was not friendly, did not apologize for the mix-up which was obviously Food Lions mistake. When I asked her why the sale prices were still up she walked away and did not answer me. Totally unprofessional.

Bakery sucks. However, cheapest full service grocery store in Harford County. Only Aldi is sometimes cheaper, but it's not comparing apples to oranges.

I love this market its close to my home and the store is very clean, I only have 1 complaint. the Deli employees are not very friendly. you asked them to slice your cheese thin and they just butcher it. I once asked the person to slice my cheese thin and it was so butchered I couldn't pull it apart without it crumbling. so now I go to Richardson Farms on the way home for my deli selections.I wish I had take photos of the cheese to post but I didn't but If I ever go back I will be sure to post the bad cut cheese.

People just walk in and walk out without even paying for the food. Guy tang all his food up and did not pay and walked right out and security guard just let him Walk out did not stop him or even try to get his plate off his car.

The other morning while at food lion in a hurry, and their line was long with only one register open, an employee Laryah had opened up a new register and got me out quickly. Her customer service was off the charts and I will be coming back!
