Worst pharmacy. Employees are awful at the pharmacy. I've had issues before but today topped all of them. I've had a prescription on back order for 2 weeks. They were supposed to reach out in 2 days of our being out of stock to let me know the status... It's been 2 weeks. It's medicine for my thyroid which I've had removed due to cancer, medicine I need everyday for my body to function normally. I ended in being in PA so I checked in with the CVS there and they have it in stock! They just needed me to cancel the one in progress at this location. Well apparently they started some automated phone system that says somebody will call you back in the next 3 or so hours and to leave a message. I contacted the front desk and explained the situation that I was only going to be at this other CVS for the next hour or two and needed the medication from them. They put me through to the pharmacy and a woman answered, who I also explain the situation to, she refused and insisted that I needed to call back and use the automated system and wait for a call back in the next several hours, or come in. When I explained the situation again saying I needed this medicine and why and that I was in PA she again refused and then hung up on me!I then had my boyfriend go to the pharmacy for me whithin the next 20 minutes to do it in person since I am desperate for this medicine. I spoke to the gentleman that helped him and he apologized and said that lady should have been able to cancel it for me. I asked who the woman was that hung up on me and was so extremely rude to me (wanted to file a complaint against her, which I never do), so he asked the few women there who it was. They all denied it! So not only is this person a straight up awful employee but also a horrible person & liar.

Had to wait in line for about 15 -20 minutes. There were about 10 people in front of me in line. This store is like this all the time. Wanted to use the drive thru but it has been broken for weeks. Will probably be taking my refills elsewhere from now on. This is bad customer service and this has been going on for a long time at this store.

I have found that the employees can be rude, will not ask who is next then choose someone who was not next. This happened twice at pharmacy counter. The phone calls I have been on hold 10 min. Never picked up. Such great service. I realize there is a health issue but come on.

Made an appointment for a Covid test for 3:40. Currently 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment and 5 cars deep. This is the most inefficient drive thru testing I've ever seen. Other CVS locations have one lane exclusively for testing and another lane for pharmacy pickup. While I realize they can't just create another lane out of thin air, perhaps adhere to the schedule and not allow folks who are more than 5 minutes late to hold things up for those who do arrive on time. Location in Forest Hill was very quick, wish they had an opening or I wouldn't be waiting here.

They make an art form of not answering the phone and hanging up the second you connect. P.s they don't take tricare but they accept state insurance. Went to get scripts, waited in line, was moved to another register just to be told that. Meanwhile that associate was gossiping bout \\\"how many times can u call out sick in a week\\\", then sent me back into the other woman's line instead of checking me out herself because she was too busy gossiping. Younger white female. Never used this pharmacy before, got home and my address was the address I was born in??? No one asked me if it was my current address. Had a second script sent over a week ago, just called, got hung up on. Called back finally got someone and she told me it was ready on the 22nd, its literally the 30th. No notification. I will literally go to any pharmacy b4 this place again.

My experence at giant has been great but the pharmacy on the other hand not so good.for some reason they seem to think they are doctors .i totally understand the opiod crisis but when my doctor writes a script and the insurance co approves it why do they think things should be adjusted and not fill the script .then they just lie about why they wont fill it.and the asian woman is about the rudest person i have ever seen maybe she should try another department other than the pharmacy.maybe somewhere she dont have to deal with the public.

I recently moved to the area, and this store blows me away. Not certain why, but this store has the widest aisles of any CVS I have visited across the region. Also very clean. I had a need to move prescriptions to this store, and they did it within minutes, and filled all the ones I need as well in the same amount of time. Very impressed. They were training new employees the morning I was there, but it was seamless, and almost impossible to know that was what they were doing. Employees all asked if I needed help, and were very attentive. Much better than most other stores in the CVS chain.

Phew this place really makes you appreciate rite aid. Hours are incorrect and half the time there is nobody in the pharmacy. Had to come back 4 DIFFERENT TIMES FOR ONE PRESCRIPTION. When we got there, had to wait over 30 minutes in the line. This place is completely unprofessional and it's amazing more people don't complain about this.
