“Decent store with friendly, helpful staff. They get an A+, but... not a great selection on a Saturday night, however, for flyer items. Also, there are still those horrible scales at the self-checkout bagging platform. And it was the only option on a Saturday evening for checkout. These scales are so sensitive that you can barely scan one item without the electronic "her" barking at you to "Put your item in the bagging area." It's particularly difficult if you use your own bags. We did, and "she" still shut us down each time. I really feel sorry for the staff who have to deal with this every shift. I like having Weis in town (former PA resident), but please fix or scrap the scales! They are too frustrating to make it worth shopping here.”

“When the pharmacy doesn't have the medication I need they will either order it and it will be there in 2 days, or if I can't/won't wait 2 days, they'll call other local stores and find it for me. I have had dozens of prescriptions filled here and keep coming back because of the service.”

“I’ve always had a good experience at this pharmacy. The pharmacist and tech’s are kind and knowledgeable. I’ve left about 3 reviews for businesses in my lifetime and this is one of them....if that tells you anything.”

“I initially came to put a 1 star review due to a difficult time with the pharmacists over the phone.Changing this to 5 stars because Brice the store manager was incredible and helped me resolve my issue and in addition, when I went to pick up my prescription, I saw how busy the pharmacy is and despite that the team was still incredible friendly and nice.I hope we all have a little extra bit of patience for the pharmacy at Mitchells chance rd as they are on the front line fighting this covid pandemic and are extremely busy all day with inquiries.”

“This pharmacy has made huge improvements over the past several months. It was a mess of unfilled prescriptions, long lines, and generally dissatisfied customers (as well as staff). Now it seems well run and efficient. Happier employees and customers.”

“I come to this Walgreens for both my prescriptions at the pharmacy and the LabCorp located right next to it. The Walgreens app is convenient to use, because I can see exactly where my medications are at in terms of processing and read for pick-up. The pharmacists are always extremely busy but they don’t hesitate to talk to you over the phone or in person if you need some advising regarding a medication. The LabCorp offers walk-ins and doesn’t require appointments. They are also one of the very few LabCorp locations that are open later than all the others. It’s a great place to go especially when you need lab work done, can’t get an appointment the SAME day (which I have never been able to do - at any location, in the past). I just walked in, was seen within 5 mins after I checked in (via kiosk), and 10 mins later…I was in my car ready to leave. I try not to go shopping around the store too often because they always have great inventory for awesome prices. And knowing me, I’ll go bananas over the bargains ?”

“I've been using this pharmacy and a few other local pharmacies, but this one is the best. The staff are the friendliest, the wait times for getting prescriptions filled are the shortest, and they're more likely to have the medications I need on site (instead of having to order them in).”

“Yesterday, the line at the pharmacy was longer than usual. When I got to the front of the line, I recognized the pharmacy tech from my old CVS in Hyattsville. I had just watched her gracefully handle three angry customers in a row. She told me a lot of the staff of the Edgewater CVS pharmacy had walked out and she was assigned to help out. I told her I wasn't surprised after seeing how people treated the pharmacist and techs there. I've always had a good experiences there, they've gone above and beyond to help me when I needed to fight the insurance company to cover my medication. We are (hopefully) nearing post-pandemic life. Everyone is struggling. This pandemic has had an emotional toll for everyone. We all need to make an effort to be kinder, more patient, and more understanding with others as we all navigate re-entering society. I know getting back to a professional setting this past week was a struggle for me, and I can only imagine the challenges that others face.”
