Our 8 month Newfoundland required an life saving emergency surgery.
On a Friday afternoon, out of time and options.
SRAH stepped up and completed the surgery.
Not to many places will close their doors, reschedule appointments and complete a surgery on a Friday afternoon.
Staff is professional,friendly, caring and supportive.
Special thanks to Dr. Yasuda, Emily, Lauren and Ciera.
We are blessed

We love Dr. Dan. He is wonderful with my elderly, very anxious, Rat Terrier. He has a very calming effect and knows how to deal with fearful dogs. Dr. Dan, Dr. Gately-Dean, and the entire staff is very kind, personable, and gentle with my senior dog who is dealing with chronic health issues and dementia. They always make themselves available to answer questions when needed. Thank You!!

Squeezed us in on a Saturday. Very knowledgeable, kind to us and our pup. Explained everything to us. Pricing was reasonable. We had a follow up call to check in our pup. Very nice. Glad we went here.

I checked in my dog Caesar on Thursday doc Dan did the exam and the message was bad looks like colon cancer I was not sure that this could be so we did a visit at the emergency clinic on best gate. They had a long line and Caesar acting normal we walked away because at 7 pm a wait of 4 h we thought we came back next day guess what 30 minutes later the doc had time to see Caesar so we returned back. The second exam did not provide a better clue cancer yes or no? However, we left Caesar in order that they could do more work like sono gram chest x etc we paid around $ 3,000. they told as this would be done next morning around 7 am. So we got a call Friday at 7 am chest scan normal but they had not done the sonogram. We were waiting and waiting finally at 5 pm this was done. We returned back and found out dog acting like a wreck and the doc told us we should put him down now because the tumors they have discovered would not leave an option for a surgery! This was a very kind way to break my heart! I ask for steroids and pain kill. They gave me something. I wanted to take my dog home to pass surrounded by family. The pain kill was not strong so my poor dog suffered for 24 hours we needed some time to get the family together in order to say good by. Sunday morning finally he was released. It was sad that we could not have a late Saturday appointment at greater south river so Caesar had to suffer until next day.it was rude and very unprofessional the way the emergency clinic Handels the going on at least they should give us the strongest pain kill if they know !!! To go back to that emergency clinic was no option whit a dog scared full of pain maybe in line for ever! If they need 8 hours to do an sonogram how long would we be in line? Although we wanted a peaceful goodbye for him at home. So if doc dan tells you what’s going on believe and if not do not go to the emergency clinic ask for something better !
