I adopted Daisy in 2015. They told me she had been returned four times. I was heartbroken for her. She has turned out to be the best dog. She is still here living her best life. Thank you Talbot Humane for never giving up on her.

Wonderful organization. As an older person they found the perfect dog. It took a little longer but worth the wait.

The receptionist was plain out and out rude. Usually I try to only ask questions relative to my animal, but when you're looked at like how many times am I getting this same question, it takes joy out of giving donations and buying items to help give them money.

Worst experience I have ever had. We were approved for a puppy. They call us in to meet the puppy we fell in love and then they told us we couldn’t have the puppy because we have a child. I feel very judged and disrespected.

I'll explain it three stars. The women running this shelter are very concerned about the animals. It is a no-kill shelter. I stopped in to verify that and see about donating to their shelter. My son is into animal rescue and I've had rescue dogs last 30 years. I am now 68 too old to get another dog but feel obligated to donate. Now they did have a large area and several cats. They said the dogs were around back. I did not see the dogs. These people need a larger space with an exercise yard. If they have a fundraiser for that I would contribute to that too and give them five stars. It's not their fault that you're working with what they have. God bless the people working here and the animals.

Talbot Humane did a fantastic job of matching us with a dog that fit beautifully into our family. The application process moved swiftly and we were able to take our new family member home in just a few days. I really appreciated the opportunity to bring our current pets to the shelter to meet our new dog so we could see how they'd all interact before we brought her home.
