Not a very good experience with Rio Del Mar on several occasions. I am giving them three stars, I considered giving less, but in all fairness I suppose it could be much worse. It is a clean, well organized business with friendly staff. I still do not intend to do business with them again though mainly because of the lack of service you get here. They are quick to sell you something but lack any professional courtesy or follow up after the fact.1st, I bought a $10K Kubota zero turn grass cutter. I never got a thank you, a follow up call or even a flier in the mail. Found out that less than a year later Rio Del Mar loss there Kubota Dealership so now I had no local support for a very expensive grass cutter.2nd, Bought Stihl power equipment there on occasions and come time to service it-it was over one months to figure out what was wrong the first time.3rd, Bought Stihl equipment again and needed a part and was told 1-2 months because of the current market deficiencies. That was perfect understandable and acceptable with things in consideration. However, never a follow up call or any help afterwards. Over 5 months later and I called, to only be made feel as if I am bothering them. Was told that parts were still not available. So at that point I called their Stihl competitor (Atlantic Tractor) who was professional, 15 miles away and had the part for me in one weeks time. Rio Del Mar could not do this in five months.Anyone can sell you something. It takes a more professional business to be courteous, show appreciation for their customers and offer service after the sale. This is where Rio Del Mar falls short. If your looking to have a local dealer who cares and to build a relationship with. I would look elsewhere if you have a choice.

Salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. However when the zeroturn was delivered it had no fuel in it. I ran out of gass while just trying to become familiar with the mower. Somebody dropped the ball.

I was charged excessively for extra labor when combined with the so-called winter service special. I was sure it must have been an error that a local business would want to correct. I paid the bill and sent them a note asking them to review the matter. What I received back was a defense of the indefensible that actually unintentionally demonstrated I had been double charged. I am happy to pay well for quality and honest service, but abhor feeling taken advantage of. Sadly, I have lost confidence them. This is the place where I bought the tractor too.
