Great community of CrossFit athletes who welcomed me to there box when I was on TDY in the summer. My time there was awesome and Keirsten puts a lot Energy in the gym. All the coaches were awesome. Highly recommend if your looking to improve your workout and make great gains!

I've been in the cult of Crossfit for a while now and I've visited over a dozen Crossfit gyms in the past. In my humble opinion the only thing that this gym has going for it is, Crossfit Nation is the only Crossfit gym in the area, they have convenient parking, it's located in the middle of town, and the equipment is sufficient. If you're a new member, you need to ask what time the classes are because the website or the schedule has many discrepancies. So the actual schedule is passed on by word of mouth. I asked a few people about why this is and the answer I mostly get is "It's always been like this so just get used to it". Other things that bothered me is how the facility is set up. They don't even have something so simple as wall ball targets or lines on the wall. How much time or effort does it take to put a mark on the wall for wall ball standards? I can nit pick on many other things here but it feels to me that the owner of this gym is just letting this business run itself, not really putting much of an effort to maintain even the most simplest things. What does that tell you about the rest? Oh and one last thing, if you have a large income then this is the place for you. If you're like the rest of us blue shirt workers then you might find it a bit difficult to afford a membership like this especially since membership is based on a 1 year contract if you want the discount, which still is hardly affordable. I have a number of friends in town that want to join a Crossfit gym but simply cannot afford the membership price of this particular box. I don't know what the cost of overhead is at this location but I know many gyms that are much higher in caliber that charge almost half the price a month in comparison. I love Crossfit, and I've been in the scene for over 10 years so I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. I'm sure the current members are happy with the way things are, but they could do so much better. I was really disappointed hoping that I'd find a gym I could call my second home. If you're interested in what a great Crossfit gym should be like then look at my review of Crossfit Iron Spider located in Salem MA or Crossfit 808 in Honolulu!

At 65, I never thought I could recover my fitness enough to dare the "strenuous" rated hikes in Yosemite. I did, though, in just five months at the CrossFit gym, Another Level Fitness, in Easton. The gym provides three important ingredients: (1) nuanced personal training from the expert owner, (2) fun workout classes with highly competent and friendly instructors, and (3) an encouraging community of other athletes of all ages and fitness levels. You get the support and workout you need! Now on to my next hiking goal... which I am sure to reach with more CrossFit workouts!
