Ron, of Cook's TV installed our TV system and house wide sound system 20+ years ago and provided excellent follow up service. However we were forced toward Direct TV. Recently we had reception problems and the online Direct TV service representative was unable to solve the problem and we were told that a service rep. could not come for 1 1/2 weeks + we needed a new control box ($100) and we needed a 2 year service contract (approximately $9.99/mo.)Faced with being without TV for 1 1/2 weeks I called COOK'S TV and Jen answered, consulted with service man, James, and immediately sugested resetting the Direct TV control box. Within 2 minutes the Cook's TV team solved our problem and negated the anticipated extra Direct TV expenses. Cook's TV proved to us again how competent and customer oriented they are!! We are deeply unhappy with the communication of this company .We had a 12:30-1pm appointment , My wife not I could be present so we paid someone to wait on them at the house. I arrive at the house at 1:30 and no one has been by or even has called us to tell us when they were coming. We called the office they said they wouldn’t come UNTIL 3pm !! As a business owner myself even if I’m 15 minutes late I would have called my client beforehand to let them know and to prepare. We have already been waiting to get this done. We will never recommend or use them in the future, simply unprofessional. You don’t have someone waiting hours on end with no communication.Update :As to the comment by the assistant below ;We were NEVER rude when you gave a date of next week , simply put I stated “ That time framing is not going to work for us nor for the person who’s watching the house for us. Could they come at 8:00am tomorrow ? You stated no you have other jobs. I had 2 jobs to complete myself as well as 4 estimates. You knew we just had a house fire and are getting back to business we stated that in the initial call.You gave the time of 3pm for your techs to arrive when our phone conversation this morning you stated “between 12:30-1pm”.Yes we are upset I have a $3000 tv sitting on my couch and a 3 year old running around.I guess I value my clients time differently, we would never let something like this happen. Thats the difference between your $140/hr company and our $400/hr company.No further contact is needed.Service: Tv wall mounting

Would highly not recommend I and my husband had someone sit at our home to wait for a technician to come out. The rep on the phone this morning validated a time between 12:30-1pm and we arrived at the home at 1:30 after our house sitter said no one has showed. My husband called the rep and they said they would now not be able to come out until 3pm. This wouldn’t work for us nor our house sitter. They couldn’t give a future date until next week. We have already been waiting and the communication from this company is extremely poor and unsatisfactory. We own a business as well and communication is #1 30 minutes is one thing we are so glad we didn’t take off a complete day off to deal with this. Time is money.Would not recommend or hire in the future and will be contacting the owner as the reply by the admin on my husbands review is not factual.Usually when communication is valued issues like this don’t occur. By other reviews I can tell this company doesn’t value much especially when it comes to their potential clients. If you’re looking for a company to mount your Tv I’d just keep looking.Rude and disrespectful don’t even begin to cover it-Marley Vanderwende

I used Cook's for the first time to repair my 3 year old 55" Vizio led tv which had stopped showing any image. The shop was easy to find, easy to park. They clearly explained their policies ($50 up-front non-refundable charge for diagnosis). Said it was most likely a main board issue and if the part was still available, they could replace it. Called the next day and said it was not a main board issue but rather some loose connections inside which needed better soldering. $125 total including the $50 up-front charge. Easy in, easy out, very friendly. I was happy to use them and will happily recommend them.

I called Cook's TV several times about not having sound on my TV. Jen and entire staff were VERY helpful and gave me different things to try to get my sound back. We finally did get sound back and I am so thankful to how friendly, patient and professional Jen was and they didn't charge a penny for the service they provided by phone. Will always use them for TV and antenna needs.

I have no idea what the service is like, I didn't get past the very rude lady that answered the phone there.
