So I purchased a pair of worx by redwing boots from Mr hessing and the souls fell apart within 24 hours of purchase. I want to say I will be more then happy to purchase another pair of boots from this gentlemen because he gave me a full refund and was extremely apologetic. The problem I had wasn't his fault in anyway I just wanted to say he was a stand up guy and a great person to buy boots from I just had a unlucky chance and got a defective pair but it doesn't matter because he was a stand up guy and refunded me my money.

Do your feet and legs a favor and go see Mr. Hessing! It's been 30 years since I've been fitted for a good pair of shoes and this man knows his business. Everything I thought I was doing right when shoe shopping was wrong. Get yourself an American made pair of shoes or boots made for American feet. Ill be back in a few weeks to get myself some boots as well. My feet and knees havent felt this good in years!Thanks Mr. Hessing!

Just walked into this Shoe store and only one associate and while I was walking around the associate continued to speak and work with this other client but I was not greeted nor spoke with, The associate could have said hello I'll be with you in a moment or something this is a very racist area in Dunkirk Md, so this was expected I would not recommend coming into this store if you are big on customer service because it was straight Trash Don't Go to Hessing Footwear !!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Hessing is the most knowledgable individual that I have ever talked to about shoes. This man knows his stuff. I came in not knowing what I was looking for and he was able to find a custom fit boot that's feels like Heaven. He refused to let me leave the store with a boot that wasn't perfect for me. I am just astounded how great my experience at the store was.

Went in looking for a specific shoe (later found out they dont make them in my size)and he didn't have them but was kind enough to call other stores looking for them. I would recommend anyone looking for shoes to shop here. This place puts customer service before everything else.

Paul is a great help and educator in regards to buying footwear. He knew what I needed and wasn't in the market of selling a placebo shoe. I purchased a pair of SAS shoes and instantly fell in love with the brand. Greatest pair of footwear that I have owned after an extremely active career. I purchased 2 sets for my wife and our feet are happy. No more stretching my feet or sharp back pains after my purchase. This store really knows shoe wear.
