I had 6 sweaters cleaned. Most were ok, but the beige one now has yellow spots all over it.

Inept and Argumentative. I went to Dunkirk Cleaners to have two holes in my North Face ski jacket repaired. The clerk advised that they could repair the holes. A few days later I returned to Dunkirk Cleaners to pick-up my jacket. The repairs were shoddy and unprofessional. I advised the clerk that the repairs weren't done correctly. The clerk began arguing with me. The clerk wouldn't even look at the repairs and stated that I was arguing in order to not have to pay the bill. The worst customer service I have experienced in decades!Service: Clothing alterations & repairs

Expensive alteration and poor quality!I was quoted $58 dollars to add two buckles to a bag and have it cleaned. They also made me supply the buckles and webbing. The price was high, but i went ahead with the work. I was disappointed when i got it back. As you can see in the photo, each buckle was sewed on differently! One had the adjustment loop above the buckle, the other below it. Also the webbing straps are different lengths.I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting the work corrected, but for over $50 i expected much better.

I had no issues with the alterations on my suit pants. They did a very good job of shortening my dress shirt sleeves also.

Very disrespectful. I needed my Navy Dress Blue uniform to have two patches sown on; they claimed they did military uniforms. I had to measure out the areas and babysit them just so I didn't fail my inspection. They still ended up being completely off due to me leaving the store for a brief moment. No customer was in the store, and I was told it was going to take 3 days on to finish (on a Monday morning). I was charged $26, I felt ashamed and belittled while I was there. DO NOT GO HERE!
BTW: The seamstress did not speak English, and the cashier spoke little at all. It was a terrible 45 minute translating frenzy. Looking back at it, I should of just done it my damn self.

My husband decided to try Dunkirk Cleaners for the first time for his suit and I had him drop off my long, accordion pleated skirt (not cheap!!) with a chiffon overlay. When he brought the cleaning home I noticed that my chiffon skirt had been hung on a shirt hanger by two SAFETY PINS. Who hangs chiffon by safety pins?! The skirt now has little holes/snags in the waistband. I came in the next day to talk with the workers, and they told me I was crazy and that all other dry cleaners would have cared for the skirt in the same fashion. Um, no. I have had this skirt cleaned before and never had this issue. There was no offer of compensation or an apology. Do not trust them with your nice clothes.
