Front Desk Awesome, Room Awesome, Location Perfect. Bartender was great!
As a diamond member and business traveler I stay in hotels about 150 nights a year. Liked this HGI.
The guy working the breakfast floor had to be a fill in. He really didn't do anything. Didn't greet anyone, sat at the bar handing out flatware. Went to the Kiosk to get a bottle of water. He informed me I would have to pay extra for that and he would bring me some water. I said ok. As of this writing I'm still waiting. SMH. This guy was really out of his element. He wasn't rude but he definitely didn't care to be there. As I was leaving I asked for a coffee mug to take to the room. He told me that was against hotel policy. I've never been told that in 20 years of traveling. Otherwise I recommend this hotel.

Loved our stay but prices are extremely High. Paying for parking should be done away with. Sorry but it doesn't make sense.
Rooms: Cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in.

Rooms were clean breakfast was good parking was plentiful. Everything was great except Tyler who works the front desk was very disappointed with his service. He lied to me and didn't save my rooms for a late check in when I called and told him I would be arriving late . So are rooms were cancelled and made it very difficult when we arrived.

Cashless commissary. Didn't eat breakfast but assume it's just like every other marriott breakfast. They charge for it. Desk folks are hit and miss with respect to helpfulness. Some seem to not want to have a job and it shows. Location is the reason I stay here. Close to all the great restaurants.

We only stayed one night for an early morning funeral. The room was huge. The shower head was a bit strange, I had to wrap the hose around it to keep it from sliding down. Lots of towels and the bottles of product were at good levels. We wish the pool was opened a bit later so we didn't get to use it. There was no breakfast buffet the best morning so they did offer things for no charge. My fiancee said the coffee was good. O but he did run the water through the room coffee maker first and it was dirty. Maybe water sat so I would recommend clearing it first.

Nice enough hotel that charges you for parking when the lot is empty. No disclosure of parking fee anywhere until you check in. Suburban location with 6large surface parking lot that they charge you to use. Odd and crazy.

No laundry available. Rooms were okay. Lighting wasn't adequate. Called from the road to make sure our room wouldn't be given away. The concierge agent's exact response? "S'long as you're here by midnight" Loud kids up at 6:30 screaming...

People are nice, respectful, and attentive. Breakfast buffet is small, but delicious.
Rooms: Rooms have been recently updated, very clean. Nice!

Super close to the island! The rooms were clean. Buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. Bar open from 5-10. They have a pool that a lot of people were enjoying and a really nice restaurant in the same parking lot.
Nearby activities: Solomons island

Not worth the $270 we paid for one night.
When we arrived, we waited in the uncomfortably hot lobby for quite a while to check in. There was only ever one person working the front desk the entire time we were there. By the time we made it to the front desk it was around 4:40pm and check in is at 4. We were informed our room wasn’t ready. Understandable, we were there on July 5th and apparently the celebrating guests the night before decided to trash their rooms. No worries. We requested a room on the third floor and went across the street for a dinner much earlier than we were hoping for. We returned 2 hours later to be told the room we requested still wasn’t ready, so we took a room on the 1st floor and were given a breakfast voucher. Seemed appropriate and I wasn’t planning to complain. A bonus was breakfast was supposed to be available until 11am. More on this soon.
The indoor pool was closed and outdoor overrun by kids. Again, all understandable.
I, personally, wasn’t a fan of the hard bed and scratchy blankets, but my husband was comfortable.
We get to breakfast at 10:20am, 40 minutes before they are supposed to close, to be told they were closing early because they had no cook. The food was TERRIBLE. The eggs were soft and tasted fishy, the bacon way overdone, we managed to get a couple of potatoes and a couple of glasses with a hint of apple juice in them. The staff seemed very stressed though they were always kind. Thank goodness for the voucher though, because that extremely disappointing breakfast would have cost us $30.
Overall we were disappointed and I feel ripped off. Hilton, if you read this, please hire more staff at this location and treat the ones you have been burning out with a raise or at least a bonus and some free days off.

Accomodations are just fine. Location is great. Adair at the front desk, however, is a complete grump. It was obvious she did not want to be working over the 4th of July - which I personally can understand - but that’s why I don’t work at a hotel. She was short, gruff and seemed irritated when I mentioned my pet (which I’d already called about prior to and was told “absolutely not a problem!”). She also refuses to greet or even make eye contact upon subsequent trips past the front desk when nobody is checking in or being helped - whether entering or exiting. She just stares at her computer screen LOL. Really a shame that that is the first thing I encountered in an otherwise decent hotel. BTW - the younger Latin guy that was also working the front desk was super friendly and seemed to really enjoy what he does. Great job, sir!

For being one of the most expensive hotels, you don’t get breakfast OR parking included in the high price! The rooms are clean which is a bonus but not worth it for the price and to charge you extra for basic things that should be included. Would not stay again.
