I LOVE the products but I must admit I use them sparely because the shipping time is so long. I’m someone who is very patient and abide by their guidelines which is 7-10 business days. My recent order I waited 10+ days before reaching out to see when my order would be shipped. The email said to wait 24 hours for a response and I never received a response. A few days after I got an update via SHOP that a shipping label was created. I placed my order 6/7, sent the email 6/24, got the shipping label alert on 6/27, it’s 6/30 and the post office still hasn’t received the package. I’ve been using products from this company since 2020, I’ve even recommended them to everyone I know and they have purchased. I love that the business is growing and thriving but this shipping issue is getting bothersome. Even the automatic message I received when I sent the email isn’t updated, it’s from back in April when the company went on a break. Someone can love a product but things like this will make you lose business no matter how good the product is. It’s just too much competition out there for these things to continue to go on. I’m really saddened to to leave this type of review but I love this company and the products so much that I want it to get better. I hope this is viewed as a gentle calling in and not a calling out.

I like their products. They are a tad high, but it's Black Girl Luxury in my opinion. However, my problem is the lengthy shipping time. It takes (very close to) a month to get a bottle of oil. I also don't like they don't seem to see that's an issue. In the beginning their reason was being new, still ironing out the kinks but it's been YEARS and it's still the same. I order sparingly because of it, I don't think that's the best customer service practice. After my last purchase I'll just have to limit my use of the oils because I won't be ordering again, it's not sensible for me. Good products though so if you're local I think it's still worth it.

Avid Zen in a Jar user since 2014‼️ I love, love, love the products . Frangrant and calming scents. The one thing I like most of all is the AUTHENTICITY of the scents. You won’t find these being sold by anyone else. It’s the scent combinations for me!!!

I absolutely love her products! Especially the oils. They aren’t greasy and the scent lingers for awhile. The scent selection is out of this world! It’s hard at times to obtain products but i was patient and finally was able to grab a few.

I first heard about Zen In A Jar on a podcast a couple years back and I literally have not stopped ordering since. I’m constantly getting compliments on how edible I smell (yea. edible ?) and I’m always happy to share the cheat code with them - it’s ZIJ!!The fragrances are sooooo SEXY and truly make you feel like somebody whenever you use them - high quality and long-lasting.HIGHLY recommend. ZIJ is literally the only way to go when it comes to fragrances. There’s tons of different scent options, but to be honest, I just grab whatever isn’t sold out on drop days ? And the best part? I’ve literally never been disappointed when the products arrive ?? Everything smells amazing. Thank you, Nikki and The ZIJ Fairies for providing us with NEXT LEVEL products, amazing service and a way to guarantee pregnancy ???

I have been a loyal customer to Zen in a Jar for a long time now, and have gotten several other people hooked along the way.To begin, it literally is made with love. I can speak from watching Dr. Brooks (owner) show my son how to make a product that love is poured abundantly into the items. But in addition, the products are amazing. She researches what works for self care and skin, incorporating luxury into every experience.My favorite product is the Body Honey, but my son’s is definitely the Whipped Shea Butter. I can use the Body Honey on my skin, in my hair, in a diffuser, in a bath for some self care, etc.) and it sets a mood and vibe for the whole day/space/experience. Every morning our house smells like the selected and respective ZIJ scent for that day. The scents are divine, and literally will have people asking “who is that who smells so good” when you come into a room. I usually only need to apply the product once in the morning and it lasts all day.You literally cannot go wrong with selecting a scent. Dr. Brooks provides a variety of scents to cater to various preferences. A household favorite is Rhys (Ginger, Amber & Grapefruit) that we share and use in common spaces. My son loves Bae (Vetiver, Nag Champa & Vanilla) and King (Bourbon & Sandalwood). My current favorites are Sunset (Sweet Orange & Rose) and Beautiful Stranger (Florals, Sandalwood & Citrus). Dr. Brooks is an olfactory genius, so my favorites change regularly, which works because her selection is pretty endless.In addition to the butters, and honey, Zen in a Jar provides so many other products that allow you to fully immerse your body and home into care. There is hand soap, room and linen spray, mists, perfume roll ons, candles, body polish (sugar scrub), bath soaks, honey soap bars, aloe based body wash and wash designed specifically for our intimate areas. Dr. Brooks has created a household line. Depending on what self care looks like for you, what you need may be different but there is something for everyone with Zen in a Jar.I gift Zen in a Jar often to people I love and the response is always, “How can I get more?” The products speak for themselves, the customer service is amazing and the creation is love.

Two words....pure luxury! I live for their shea butter, body honey, body scrubs, body washes, candles....everything! The scents are divine and the products leave your skin soft and moisturized. I won't use anything else! Get into this small woman-owned business. I promise you won't be disappointed!
