We LOVE this place and adore the owner. He is kind, personable and knowledgeable. He really gets to know his customers and is part of the community! He will stock our favorites and order items we are specifically looking for. 10/10 :) My only suggestion is to please update the hours–we live super locally and have stopped by a number of times during listed hours and found it closed.

I stopped in last Thursday to pick up a 12 pack of Belles Two Hearted Ale and a box of sangria. It was rainy and I was in a bit of a hurry. The person behind the cash register was on the phone and never offered any help. When I went to check out I asked if they had boxes of sangria and was told if it wasn't on the shelf they didn't. He also asked if I needed a receipt. I said no. (Obviously a big mistake.) I now see on my credit card I was charged $28.33 for the 12 pack of Belles. It's my own stupid mistake for not reading carefully before I signed. Also, from now on I will always ask for a receipt. My own stupidity but I won't be back!

I bought cases of beers, I am very disappointed ?, they are flat, I called the place and complained no acknowledgement and no solution.I am very disappointed.

This place is awful. Rude owner and his hired staff stays on the phone when he should be giving the customer preference. I responded to a customer there, who asked a question and the owner told me not to talk to his customer. Rude and the place is very dusty around the counter and lottery. Get your wine and beer across the street.

This is hands down the best beer and wine store in Montgomery county. The owners are amazing, so friendly, they always remember me and have my preferred beer in stock for me. Prices are the cheapest in the area. I get my beer at $8.99 and it is $13.99 at the Derwood beer and wine right across the street.

I find that the prices here are decent for montgomery county. Good beer selections, but pretty basic for wine (example, only one kind and size of dry vermouth). One thing I appreciate is that there are prices tagged on many, but not all, of the beers. Some other beer stores in the area don't have price stickers, so you don't find out prices until you are at the register.
