Well it was my birthday n I did my research to find a decent course in Southern Maryland in late December to play ! I chose wrong ... I got there early n used the bag drop . Guy who seemed to be starter/ bag drop paid me no mind as he lined carts up. My girlfriend n I parked in the lot and finished our breakfast as we watched this guy park a cart by my clubs but never touched them. We went in and paid ($110). Guy was nice but charged cart fee for my gf to ride even though they were not busy and it was cart path only. As we went out to bag drop , the cart guy was on the range talking to some other guy so I decided to load my clubs on the cart parked next to my clubs. All loaded n settled in , the guy finally comes over and said ' why are u in that cart?' Anyway , needless to say it wasn't a great welcome. Now to the course. Yes it was wet which I u/s and oh well, but overall I wasn't very impressed. Fairways were punched and you could tell the greens were still healing from being punched. The idea of replica holes was great but honestly didn't do much for me with the exception of Amen Corner. I thought the course would have more character but I've seen quite a few courses with much more character. I liked that there were very few houses on the course n enjoyed reading the plaques at each hole but honestly I would say you are not missing much if you don't play this course and it certainly wasn't worth playing for $110. Perhaps the conditions and views are better a different time of year.

I was amped up to play this course, I thought that it would be the best of the best. With high expectations walking into the pro shop, they were shot down immediately with the bad customer service. Being our first time here we expected a cheery hello and some story about the course. None of that at all, a sour puss face with no interest stared at us, he misinformed us that the range balls were not free and they were. He sold us this crappy brochure on the course for $8 and the same information was on the screen in the cart. He could not answer any questions we had and we wondered if he actually worked there. The starter was great, he explained about the course and even gave some tips. The first 5 holes were nothing special and were brown and not in good shape. The Augusta holes were great and challenging and the 13th as well. Other than that we did not experience the grand slam of golf and left at hole 15. All in all it was ok, but we will not be back.

Course: I can't say I've played of the original but it's a replica as good as it's going to get in Maryland. You can't replicate conditions (eg Augusta National), treelines, elevation and other details but who cares, it's still a great experience!Course condition: I played in mid-November and the course was in great condition. Greens were lightening fast and I three putted way too many times. Walkable: There are three long ass walks between holes otherwise it's walkable if they allow it. Staff: Fantastic service. Highly recommend to try at least once but if not more.

Amazing course. Must play here at least once. The replica holes are amazing. Staff was friendly and the pace of play was good.

please blow up the island green and start over! I have played this course since the first month it was opened. They have made many changes to make it more enjoyable but PLEASE fix the island green of Sawgrass! It's not even close to the "real" one and I think the peak has gotten higher over the years making impossible to hold the green. I'm guessing they make so much money from reclaiming the balls in the water there is no incentive to fix that hole. Start today and it will be ready for spring.

Course was great! Greens were FAST and Tricky! Only thing stopping from 5 stars was the starter not keeping the start tee times on time and delaying the game.

I hosted my 30 year high school reunion here. The venue was perfect for 75-100 to be very comfortable. We had ample space for mingling in the bar, a dance floor and spot for photos. The buffet was great.and we had the whole bar to ourselves. This is my 3rd event there and I am happy every time.

A must play in the DC area for any TV golf n*** - every hole is a replica of a hole from a PGA Major course. Highlights are undoubtedly Amen Corner and Sawgrass #17 although I’m partial to #11 from Merion, short but very difficult hole requiring both great strategy and great execution. How do so many balls find their way into that narrow stream??Renditions is fun but overpriced at $120 and it’s always disappointing when $100+ greens fees don’t include range balls

It’s hard to believe this is a public golf course! From the manicured fairways and greens to the signature holes, you constantly find yourself having a good time. The Carts have GPS that works well, and the snack shack has everything you could ever want. Did I mention you pass the snack shack 3 times? The logistics of this course can make even the worst golfer have a good day on the green. Need lessons? They offer them; need clubs? They have those for rent; want to use golf as a date night? Check out their afternoon rates! If you give this course a shot, I know you won’t be let down. Just be sure to enjoy and have fun!!

I like this course, it's in great shape and very challenging. The staff was nice and helpful. The one complaint that I have, is golfers blasting music from their golf carts, the club should do a better job of policing that. They should have a rule to use ear buds or turn the speakers to a low volume.

Cool concept but poor execution. Took a 2.5 hour drive from Philly to play this course on 7/23 and I can't say that it was worth it or that I'd do it again. When looking at pictures of the course, you get so hype to play these replica holes from great courses around the country. When you get there it is VERY underwhelming. The pictures that are on the web do NOT reflect the current conditions at all! Sure, playing Amen corner was really cool and those 3 holes were in great shape but the rest of the course was not. Tee boxes and fairways were great! The greens, they were an afterthought. Most of them looked like they just survived a golf ball sized hail storm. I know that the course isn't directly responsible for fixing pitch marks on the greens but you almost have to assume that 4/5 golfers are not going to fix them. There were more than enough staff standing around doing nothing to have someone go out once or twice a day to fix them. The bunkers? ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Most of them didn't have any sand in them, more like dried dirt! The church pew hole from Oakmont had church pew bunkers but instead of white sand filling them, they were filled with dirt and weeds, not a grain of sand to be had in there. I thought most of the holes were "loosely based" on iconic holes and not replicas. The 17th at Sawgrass, loosely based! The green was the size of a postage stamp and other than the left side where the pin was that day, the rest of the green was useless. The staff there were nice but I didn't feel like they sold the place like other resort like courses would. We got the ol' "you ever play here before?" spiel but nothing after that. Nobody tried to "sell" us on how great the place was or how cool the layout was. I wouldn't drive more than 30 minutes to play this place again.

Traveled here from Alabama…one of the most unique and fun courses I have played in a long time. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Well done staff…☺️

Course was in fantastic condition. Greens were tough. And loved playing signature holes.
