My wife loves this place. I only dislike how large it is and how long she takes looking at all the plants. But it makes her happy so we put up with the long trips.

EXPENSIVE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Not what it was...Homestead Gardens was a holiday tradition I shared with my husband and continued after moving away. Now it reminds me of a going out of business sale. My husband stopped coming after last year and this will be my last. Sean the manager left me standing waiting while he worked out a maintenance issue with another employee. Not the way one expects to be treated at a high dollar retail store.

Loved loved loved it. We were told this was the 1st Homestead Garden location! It's HUGE!! I really liked it there. They have jewelry, clothes, kids toys, an entire pet section, a fire pit outside and incredible trees galore!!! The employees were friendly and the train garden was pretty impressive too. Thank you all. My Individuals enjoyed the visit!!!

My favorite place! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the store is beautifully kept. There is a little something for everyone. Homestead is a staple of the Davidsonville community!

Beautiful store amazing selection (compared to other places in the area) but I was so disappointed in the prices. Small plants, sad looking plants and even common houseplants were expensive. I ended up leaving empty handed since most costs were double in comparison to what I’ve seen in other stores.

They have a great setup and the fall festival was neat for the kids. For some reason we have had no luck with pumpkins there this year. They all rotted before it was time to carve them and had to buy replacements elsewhere :(

Anything and everything you ever wanted for your home or garden is here. Seriously, no matter how complex or simple, they have it and can do it. Staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. The store and grounds are impeccable. A bit.....no, lot pricey so just be aware.

Always enjoy coming to Homestead Gardens. I love bringing my toddler and baby so they can see all the plants and animals (toddler loves pointing out all the honey bees and birds in the garden center, as well as the miniature highland cows). They have a great plant selection, and if they don't have what you want, they always have a great alternative. Excited to see what future development plans on their Davidsonville location.

I recently purchased a River Birch from this nursery. The purchase process was seamless, and the staff were very helpful. It took roughly a week for my tree to be delivered which was the start of a nightmare. As I stated my Birch arrived a week later. When I seen my tree, I immediately noticed that the leaf's were no longer vibrant and green but yellow. I asked the gentleman that delivered and planted my tree if the tree had been water in between time and he assured me that it had and continued to say that the holding area for the trees are watered daily. Keeping hope alive, I figured that once I began watering the tree as explained, the tree would stabilize and everything would be fine. The next day when I woke up, all the yellow leaf's fell to the ground but again I thought this was normal. After a week of constant watering, I noticed that even after watering the tree all the leaf's began to yellow and the tree just simply looked bad. I Called Homestead to report the health of the tree. I paid $250 for the tree and roughly $200 to have it planted. Homestead will give you a warranty, but they don't really want you to use it. As soon as I called and requested a new tree, I was told that the tree died because it wasn't being watered. I tried to explain that I watered the tree more than required and this idiot kept repeating the same crap over and over again and even had the audacity to ask me why I thought the tree had died. He immediately started point the finger when in fact from day 1 the tree arrived stressed, and water deprived a week later. In the end I received a new tree but I will never do business with this nursey ever again. My late husband and I were faithful customers of Ronny's and they would have never allowed a tree to leave their nursery half dead. With today economy, I still wish prosperity for Homestead but if they want to stay in business their customers are the reason, they are able to operate. In the future, please listen to your customers, be kind and courteous.

Long time Homestead Garden fans. Recently used the design center designers to redo some of our landscaping. They were great. The whole team was efficient, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Competitive pricing and vast experience. Cannot say enough great things about this experience.
