I had an excellent experience with Lorraine and her team at DB&C renovating my basement (living room, full bath, and bedroom). As a real estate agent, I have worked with many MANY contractors over the years, and Lorraine's communication is top notch, making the renovation process very smooth. Additionally, the workmanship quality was high. I recommend DB&C without hesitation and will use them again for my next project.

DB&C did an absolutely fabulous job installing my wallpaper mural. The installer was neat and tidy - the edge of the mural was perfectly matched against the adjacent wall, and every detail is perfect. Best of all, Lorraine, the contractor, was super responsive and got back to me right away with any question that I had. She worked really hard to get me scheduled in a timely manner because I had an event coming up. I will definitely be using them for future jobs in my home.

Lorraine has helped with numerous projects at our home since we moved in. She has an incredible eye for design. Her teams are courteous impeccable about cleaning up and always reliable. We found her pricing to be extremely fair and often times less expensive than other contractors.

We worked with DB and C a couple years back for a renovation of our bathroom. We had what we thought was a lackluster experience with them, but only after having our kitchen done by someone else did we realize what an awful experience our bathroom had been. DB&C required us to purchase some of the materials (no problem, it saves money) but they provided a list that was incomplete and inaccurate. Some stuff they were willing to get, like window trim and register covers. other things they weren't, like the metal edging for the tile, and it seemed random. Our current contractor has picked up EVERYTHING for us, providing detailed receipts for everything and come in at a comparable price point. DB and C's pricing wasn't transparent at all. The shower bar was placed in the wrong location and couldn't be moved because it had been drilled into tile. The window trim was done so poorly that they had to redo it. Even their supervisor admitted it was done terribly (and what's worse is that their original worker tried to convince us to keep it, actually texting us that he thought it looked great). I found out from our new contractor that our toilet actually could have been moved, and would've created a much bigger and more usable bathroom. I wish every day I could redo this bathroom with our current contractor. I'm happy at least that we've moved forward with our new person for the kitchen and our other work. I will say that Shannon has a good eye for design and did help us pick out a great looking floor (which I will now have to rip up to put the toilet in the right spot). Ultimately this renovation is going to cost a LOT more time, money and agony than it ever should have.

What can I say about Lorraine other than life saver. Had a major flood when kitchen pipes burst. Couldn’t find a single contractor to help me until I found Lorraine. She and her team not only did a great job replacing hardwood floors, carpet and counter tops but she saved my sanity. My contractor for life. Would recommend her to anyone.

Lorraine, Shannon and their crew did an amazing job on our Guest Bathroom. Lorraine and Shannon had beautiful design ideas and were very attentive. Any issues were resolved very quickly. The crew was extremely talented and a pleasure to work with. The work started by Thanksgiving and was finished by Christmas – we had a lot of guests through the holidays, and they were blown away. Our bathroom is gorgeous as you can see from the pictures.

I honestly can not say enough about DB&C. They have completed 3 major projects for me and all have turned out exceptionally. The first was adding a loft in our condo. Not an easy task by any stretch given the space but Lorraine and crew not only were able to plan it out they pulled off with such a stunning outcome. We get compliments ALL the time. They've also gutted our bathroom and rebuilt it to reflect not only our style but the historic location to where there was this gorgeous flow between old and new. They also floored our entire condo with an old barn wood look that is just breathtaking upon entry. Everything they've done has been minute with detail, even when I hadn't thought of it so didn't expect it. They are also not afraid to tell me this that or the other is a hard no for aesthetics vs. what we're trying to accomplish. I'm not the offendable type and have always appreciated and glad I have because the end results in all projects are just amazing. I will for sure be using them moving forward!

WOW! Whoever takes the time to write reviews. I, for one don't, however in this case I am extremely pleased to give a review on this unbelievable company, it's leadership and its entire team of support personnel. My project initially started as a possible surprise outdoor screened in porch for my wife, as we celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary this summer. Well unfortunately she learned of the surprise and let it be known she would prefer a total kitchen makeover. A new kitchen it is. Lorraine stepped in and immediately changed courses and began plans on the dream kitchen with Shannon's assistance. Talk about a team and feeling like a valued CUSTOMER. From the onset to the conclusion, it was remarkable how the team got all the pieces together, resolving any issue from minor to major. When push came to shove, Lorraine took the bull by the horn and used your communication and management skills to work with an outside her control vendor and we had our kitchen with oven in place to use for Thanksgiving.
Words are not enough to express my profound gratitude to DB&C.
You want work done, feel important and get the results your after I HIGHLY recommend DB&C Home Restorations.

We just renovated two bathrooms with DB&C. Lorraine, her decorators and teams were wonderful to work with! Both crews were professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves each day. DB&C Home Restorations was wonderful to work with! It can be hard to find a good contractor and we were very fortunate to have close friends who went through a renovation and referred us to DB&C.From the beginning, communication with Lorraine and Shannon was responsive and transparent. I really appreciated how Shannon walked us through the design process and even went with us to choose materials.When it came time for the renovation to start, Rohan, Brian, Wilson and the team were excellent. They kept us updated on progress, kept the site clean, and were just overall kind - all important when you're living through a renovation! When an issue popped up, they explained it and provided is with two courses of action to proceed. We will recommend them without reservation to friends in the future!Services: General construction
